Rafe quickly picked up the pebbles at his feet when he saw Gill ready to attack. All of the students there seemed to be amazed at the strength Gill was showing, while Nia immediately turned her gaze to Rafe as if expecting him to do something.
"Will my power increase in this situation?" thought Hayato as he felt an overwhelming surge of mana.
"No, of course I'll die if I don't do anything. This guy is crazy," Hayato said as he grabbed his sword and prepared to attack.
"Will he survive such an attack?" muttered Elena with a worried look on her face.
"We'll see who dies first. Me or you, this is the strongest attack I can make. Get ready!" said Gill as he lowered his body to attack.
"You weird NPC, the strongest power should be shown in the last seconds of the fight. He shouldn't show it like this at the beginning," Hayato grumbled, cold sweat starting to flow under his shirt.
"Rafe could help me," Hayato thought as he closed his eyes.
