Chapter 35 - Cosmic Tier Psychology Attack

The ground on which they were fighting shook violently, and chunks of earth were even scattered by the wizard, the guardian, and the fighter. Above the wizard's head, a huge wind dragon formed from condensed air appeared. Blood began to flow from the wizard's nose and mouth.

"After I attack it with all my mana, we may still have a chance to escape," the wizard said.

"Yes, I'll take you," the guardian replied.

"We should tell the lord that this is an impossible mission, even for ten of us," said the fighter, giving Rafe a sharp look.

"Hehehe... looks like she wants to use up all the mana in her body," Rafe muttered with a chuckle at the desperate look on his enemy's face.

"You won't be able to dodge anymore, damn it! Air Dragon!" the wizard shouted as she stomped her wand forward. Her body instantly collapsed to the ground after using up all the mana in her body.

At that moment, the giant wind dragon's figure shot out extremely fast, and wind waves could be heard rumbling along with the giant wind dragon. The ground that the wind dragon passed by was instantly scattered into the air, and the rocks that it passed by were even shattered into pieces due to the strong wind pressure.

Rafe smiled as he stretched out his right hand. The guards and fighters who saw this were immediately shocked as Rafe seemed to have no intention of dodging. The wind wave finally arrived right in front of Rafe, but slowly, the shape of the wind dragon in front of Rafe began to shrink, as if it was being absorbed into the palm of Rafe's right hand.

Blood seemed to flow from the corner of Rafe's lips, Rafe's right hand seemed to tremble, pain began to radiate from his right hand. The guardian and the fighter were even more surprised because the impact was not as big as they thought, Rafe himself lowered his right hand while looking at his two enemies who were still standing.

"Impossible. It's impossible for even an A-rank guardian to hold it without using magic," the fighter said.

"I will definitely be fatally injured even if I block it with my strongest magic power, and I might even die if I miscalculate the distance," the Guardian said with wide eyes.

"Who exactly is he?" muttered the fighter with a trembling body.

"You think I'm going to let you get away with this?" said Rafe, whose form suddenly stood not far in front of the Guardian and the Hunter.

The Guardian and Fighter fell to the ground, but their heads were severed from their necks before they could speak. The lightning knife in Rafe's hand looked bloody, and the mage who saw it just closed her eyes. Her mouth seemed to move as if to say something to Rafe.

"Mercy? Mercy? I'm sorry, but I'm only human. My judgment of right and wrong is very narrow, I will never know the contents of the human heart. For me, your current actions are reason enough to finish you off," Rafe said as he approached the wizard's body lying on the ground.

The lightning blade in Rafe's hand slowly formed another bolt, and he thrust his hand forward mercilessly. The lightning in his hand instantly shot through the wizard's heart as he lay helplessly on the ground, and blood seemed to scatter in all directions.

"Think before you act to harm others, you don't know when death will catch you," Rafe said as he stretched his hand towards the lancer lying in the distance.

"Forgive me!" shouted Lancer, who immediately got to his feet and ran away.

"Oh, it turns out he was just pretending to faint," Rafe muttered as he waved his lightning-covered hand in the air.

At that moment, a bolt of lightning quickly followed Lancer, slowly spreading like roots in the air, its movement accelerating until Lancer's body was struck by the lightning that spread to his body.

Lancer screamed in pain as he begged for mercy, but Rafe mercilessly plunged the lightning knife in his hand into Lancer's neck. Lancer's eyes widened as his body convulsed and died.

"Now there's only one left," Rafe muttered as he turned his gaze to the swordmaster, who was still laughing wildly as he watched Hayato continue to roll on the ground.

"Forgive me! It hurts! Please don't kill me!" cried Hayato as he lay on the ground grimacing in pain.

"Hahaha... finish him quickly! I want to be free of this illusion, now I don't even hear the sound of fighting anymore. The illusion must have worn off!" the swordmaster shouted as he raised his hand in the air.

"Looks like it's over," Hayato said as he stood up, his eyes now fixed on the swordmaster who was still raising his hand in the air.

"Hey, don't let him get up again! Finish him!" the swordmaster shouted, surprised that Hayato wasn't screaming in pain anymore.

"Hahaha! You idiot!" Hayato shouted, laughing with satisfaction.

Hayato had to hold his stomach as he tried to hold back his laughter while the swordmaster in front of him looked surprised at his reaction.

"What's so funny huh! What's wrong with my friends? Why aren't they torturing you anymore?" the swordmaster asked.

"Hahaha..." Hayato laughed again without answering his opponent's question.

"What happened to them, huh?" snapped the swordmaster as he grabbed his sword again.

"They're dead, that's the only answer," Hayato replied while striking a pose, wiping his fringe with one hand.

"You think the main character in this world is so stupid that he dares to challenge an opponent stronger than himself? You're too naive a villain, if only we met after I started my villainous arc. Then we might be able to work together," Hayato said proudly.

"What are you saying? You said my friend is dead, huh!" the swordmaster snapped as he swung his sword forward.

"Then I'll finish you off myself! My half mana should be enough to finish you off! Greater Fire Slash!" the swordmaster shouted as he slashed his sword at Hayato.

"What happened?" said the swordmaster as he was unable to use his magic.

"Hahaha... you won't be able to use your magic under the influence of my illusionary skill! You will be here forever, mourning the emptiness, leaving life behind and away from death, feeling the shackles of your dark destiny!" shouted Hayato as he pointed at the swordmaster with his index finger.

"What are you saying?" said the swordmaster who looked shocked.

"No way, do they have skills that have almost the same effect? No, this boy's skill is definitely more terrifying," the swordmaster muttered, his body shaking with fear.

"Hey, don't call my passive skill your skill, you idiot!" snapped Rafe, who was already standing behind the swordmaster.

"Huh?" muttered the swordmaster as he turned around. He was too anxious and wary of Hayato to notice the movement of Rafe who had approached him earlier.

"You don't mess up my part! You ancient man! I took the trouble to trick him earlier, I should have let him think it was my skill!" grumbled Hayato as he approached with an annoyed look.

"I didn't expect you to be stupid enough to be tricked by a freak like him when you seem pretty smart," Rafe said as he looked at the confused swordmaster.

"You're the one who doesn't know psychology and mental science! You idiot," Hayato said after getting close enough to Rafe and the swordmaster he had tricked earlier.

"What kind of weird word is that again?" said Rafe.

"What exactly is going on here?" asked the swordmaster, who was getting more and more confused by Rafe and Hayato's conversation.

"He's smart, but he's too cautious. He knows that you're not an ordinary F-Rank, so I made him think that I'm not an ordinary F-Rank adventurer either. He definitely didn't dare to underestimate me after I explained my own power, he must have been confused, he also probably thought that I was very confident that I could win from him because I dared to explain my power to him," Hayato explained proudly.

"That is why he remained cautious and affected by my every trick, I deliberately included his feelings for his friend. That's what made him even more hesitant and confused about what to do, because a wrong move would hurt his friend. I continue to give him suggestions and make him even more convinced that everything I say is true," Hayato continued.

"I call it the Cosmic Tier Psychology Attack," Hayato said proudly.
