Everything was silent. The dry ground looked scorched. The place was slightly blurry as if there were fog, but it was the dust that constantly hung in the air. The trees were as tall as 40 or 50 story buildings.
They resembled oak trees, so I assumed they were incredibly sturdy and held mana within them.
The mana in these trees seemed tied to a specific element.
"Earth element."
An element that makes the trees more resistant, even allowing them to live for thousands of years.
The entire place looked like something out of a movie about a world ravaged by natural disasters, where everything was left dry and lifeless.
It resembled the environment surrounding us.
"There are no monsters for now," said Margareth, who was using her mana perception ability.
