"Hmm, how strange. You don't have any broken bones."
Selene's hands moved across my body, using mana to check my condition.
She didn't find any internal damage, but I did have some bruises, especially on my abdomen, where they were an intense purple.
I didn't feel any pain.
Anyway, pain was the least of my concerns at the moment.
However...
I couldn't do anything against Oriana. My understanding of mana was nearly nonexistent. Even though Encrid only trained me once, he hasn't said anything else about mana since then.
Still...
It doesn't matter.
Somehow, he managed to learn everything about mana of darkness. I assume he wants me to figure it out on my own.
"Damn it."
I cursed silently as Selene looked at me.
"What's wrong?"
My fists were clenched, and I couldn't hide the frustration on my face.
The anger of losing to someone like Oriana irritated me deeply.
