—Asher Frostblade's point of view.
Once the test came to an end, it was time for the long-awaited voting to elect the chairman of the disciplinary committee.
Although no one was sure who the next chairman would be, all those questions would be answered in a few hours, once the votes were counted and the result announced. The election of the disciplinary committee chair would not only decide who would lead the committee, but would also determine who the vice chair and secretary would be, as the new chair would have the power to appoint them.
The role of the disciplinary committee chair is crucial. One person alone cannot take on the enormous responsibility of managing all the tasks involved in maintaining order and discipline in the academy. Therefore, more committed and capable colleagues are needed to share the burden. The vice president and secretary would not only assist the president in his duties, but would also play essential roles in the day-to-day administration of the committee, ensuring that all areas were covered effectively.
As Asher walked the halls with his hands in his pockets, he thought about voting and everything to do with the disciplinary committee. In fact, he had been thinking about it for quite some time since the test ended.
Sighing, he looked out the hallway window; the sun was setting, indicating that it was close to three o'clock in the afternoon.
"I need a watch," he muttered to himself.
"What do you need?"
Turning his head, Asher saw Luna coming out of another hallway.
"A watch. The time is important to me."
"That's not a problem."
"What do you mean?"
"We haven't been given those credit points yet, so we should be able to shop at the academy stores with regular money."
It makes sense; the point system isn't being used by any cadets yet, and they haven't given out a certain amount of points either. Of course, although credit points are earned by completing certain tasks, on the first day at the academy it is necessary for cadets to receive a small amount of points.
If not, it would be a problem, and knowing the rules, I know that it is necessary for each cadet to be given a small amount of credit points.
"Then we can go."
"That's right, let's go."

—Scene change.
Walking outside the academy, exactly in the part where places like shopping malls, clothing stores, restaurants, and weapon and item stores are. After all, the academy has everything.
This time, the place was not full of cadets walking everywhere. The cadets in this place were taller and radiated great mana, which meant that they were cadets of senior years.
"Let's go to that store, it looks like they sell items or something else."
Following from behind, Asher looked at the store in front of him. As he entered, a bell rang.
"Ding" "Dong."
At that moment, looking all around inside, he saw that it was filled with various kinds of things, especially magic-related items and strange objects that Asher had never seen before.
"What is this?"
Asher looked at a transparent sphere that emitted a glow and mana was coming out of it.
"It's a mana sphere. It can measure mage mana up to the fifth circle," replied Luna, who was standing next to Asher.
"I see."
"I thought it was a mana bomb or something," Asher thought to himself, as he turned his head and looked away.
Looking at a part where some clocks of different types were standing, Asher walked over.
"They're old-fashioned in style, but they tell time accurately."
Grabbing one of the clocks that were there, Asher scanned it, looking at it in detail.
"It's perfect."
Then he held it up and walked over to Luna, who was looking at some skill books.
Moving closer, Asher looked at Luna's face, who was concentrating looking at the skill books.
[Wave Blast]
[Mana Manipulation]
[Wave scattering]
And the list of books she was looking at went on and on. Then, holding Luna's wrist, Asher spoke.
"You'll take all that with you?"
"Uh, sorry, I was a little distracted."
"No problem. Looks like you haven't learned any good skills yet."
"Well, you're right. I was only able to learn a few basic ones as quickly as possible, and that's why they're useless."
No, in fact, all the other cadets had at least three skills, except for Grey, Julian, Freddy, Emilia, Luna and Gloriana, who learned at least five skills.
Although they were very basic skills and easy to learn in a few days, they are skills that are temporarily used for the time being.
"Then I'll take these."
Grabbing three skill books, Asher and Luna went to pay for them.
"That'll be ten gold coins."
"..."
Asher was puzzled; a few skills and a watch cost ten gold coins.
Simply put, that's a robbery. Ten gold coins is too much money. If it was, for example, a dimensional ring like the one Asher has, that price would even be normal, but in skill books, which are barely three, and a single watch, it was theft.
"Ten gold coins, here you go."
"Thank you for your purchase, cadets."
Walking out of the store, Asher spoke up.
"Wasn't it a bit expensive?"
"Why yes, it is expensive, but.... I have too much money and I can order more."
"..."
Luna is definitely one of those spoiled rich girls Asher had once heard about; they get everything they want with their fortune.
Sighing, Asher gave a small smile. It was a small one and hardly noticeable, but Luna saw it at the time.
"So you usually smile like that, huh?" She mumbled as quietly as possible so Asher wouldn't hear.
Just like Asher, Luna let out a giggle.
"Hehe."
"..."
Asher looked at Luna and she looked at him.
"What was that?"
"Uh... What was what? I didn't hear anything. I think you're hearing weird things."
"..."
"Okay, if you say so."
"Hehe."
"..."
"Haa..." Asher let out a long sigh.
Then, the two continued walking for quite a while after buying a few things.

—Gloriana Mengral's point of view.
The sky was so blue. No, in fact, it was fading, as it was afternoon and orange tones were starting to show in the sky that was slowly losing its blue color.
"Haa..." With a long sigh, Gloriana looked around.
She was currently on campus, sitting by herself as cadets passed by her and used to mutter some words from time to time like:
"It's Princess Gloriana. We should salute her."
"Wow, I never thought of seeing Princess Gloriana up close."
"She's more beautiful than people say."
It was praise after praise she was receiving. Gloriana was used to all those words, not only at the academy, also at the castle and, in fact, everywhere she always went.
It was a habit that no longer bothered her. Of course, if her friends greeted her like that, she really didn't like it very much; being greeted always and at every moment by her same friends didn't please her very much, let's say.
But Asher had never said hello to her since he'd met her, and that was one of the reasons Gloriana liked Asher so much.
"I wonder where she is," he muttered quietly.
But his question was answered when he saw Asher with Luna; the two were talking as they walked together.
"Uh... Since when do those two hang out together like that?"
Gloriana then stood up and started following them from afar.
While those two were walking quietly, Gloriana was behind.
"Looks like they were out shopping."
Looking at some of the things the two were carrying, Gloriana knew right away that they were shopping, though she didn't care what they bought, but rather why the two were together.
In fact, it was rare to see Luna with anyone other than Gloriana.
"I guess they were just shopping."
Stopping, Gloriana stopped following them. It didn't look like the two were into anything more than some simple shopping.
"Haa... Why did I follow them?" she asked herself.
Was she a stalker? No, in fact, she was very curious, but it wasn't so much as she was keeping an eye on Asher and Luna.
Seeing that they weren't doing anything else, she let them go.
"Oh, that's right, voting starts in half an hour. I need to get there as soon as possible."
With that in mind, Gloriana headed for the academy facilities.

—Scene change.
—Oriana Mengral's point of view.
Being in the section where the teachers gather, Oriana heard the words of one of the teachers.
"Okay, so the cadets are already selected for class one, right?"
"That's right, there are a total of thirty of them. The rest are in the other classes; a total of one hundred cadets were left in class five."
"How unfortunate."
Oriana listened attentively to the words of some of the teachers. She was so bored at the moment that she didn't say anything.
"Voting should start already," she muttered as quietly as possible.
Then, with that in mind, she left the teachers' section. He had nothing else to do there after all and was just wasting time listening to the theories and, above all, the events that happened in the test.
At the time, Oriana had been amazed by Asher's abilities. No cadet was able to scratch him, and he wasn't even trying hard to make moves.
"Hehe," a chuckle came out of her at the thought of Asher.
"He's definitely a monster in talent."
Oriana was more than aware of Asher's talent: instant understanding, abilities to adapt quickly, and most of all, now with magical abilities at a high level.
What would happen if he got more experience?
"He'll soon surpass me."
Of that, Oriana was sure. Although Oriana's strength was growing steadily, it couldn't compare to Asher's rate of growth.
Currently, Oriana was going to the meeting section, where the votes to elect the chairman of the first-year disciplinary committee would be announced. Although Oriana was not very interested in such things, as one of the academy's teachers she must attend.
Entering the meeting section, she quickly made her way to the room where the teachers were discussing preparations.
"We have for the moment the top five who won the test."
"But the cadet who won, we don't know him and no one knows who he is."
"That's true. Then we could do..."
"I say the one who won should be the president."
"..."
"..."
The teachers turned their heads, and then, a tall woman in a white teachers' uniform, her eyes red and her hair silver. Of course, the professors knew who this woman was; after all, every professor knows the princesses and prince heirs to the throne.
"Do you know the identity of that cadet?"
"Not exactly, but I can tell you that that cadet is more than qualified to be the president. If I were a cadet, I would vote for him."
"Yes that's true, but none of us know who he is, and cadets wouldn't vote for someone if they didn't know if he was any good or not."
Actually, that has some reality to it.
"So what would happen if the members of all ten families and my sister voted for him?"
Of course, everything would be different. Seeing that the members of the ten families voted for only one cadet, that would be the time when the rest of the cadets would vote for him as well.
"But do you think the cadets will really vote for that cadet?"
"I'm sure they will."
At that, the other professors sighed and dropped the subject.
After all, the professors are not the ones who elect the chairman of the disciplinary committee, but the cadets themselves through voting, somewhat similar to how presidents of countries are elected.
"Okay, then let's move on to the next topic."
Oriana could assume that Asher would be the chairman. After all, it's more than obvious that that position fits him perfectly, but of course, Oriana doesn't know if Asher wants to have that position.
It was at that moment that she remembered some words Asher himself had said.
"He doesn't want to draw attention to himself."
No, rather, he doesn't like to draw attention to himself. Maybe it's because Asher is a reincarnate, and his mentality is that of a 25-year-old adult who never had emotions, was detached from people, and was a lone assassin who died.
"Haa... I hope you will accept."
After that, the time for voting came, and the cadets gathered in the meeting section....
