-Grey Elaris Point of View.
"Boom!!!"
An explosion echoed overhead. Grey raised his head and saw something like a firework exploding in the sky, knowing immediately what it meant.
All the cadets began to run in all directions: some to the desert, some to the forest, and some to the snowy field, which seemed to be the most remote of the three areas of the site.
With this in mind, Grey ran in the direction of the forest, knowing that, despite being a place with trees that could protect him from attacks by other cadets, it was the easiest option.
When he watched the fights in the training section, he found the fights very boring and pointless, except for the first confrontation, of course. But now that he was in a battle royale-like combat in the open field, everything was very different.
"Haaa..."
He continued running until he entered the forest. He didn't know where the other cadets were, but the first one he encountered, he was to fight with everything he had.
"Ah... Damn."
Shouts echoed in the distance. Arriving at the place where they came from, Grey quickly moved in and began his attack on two cadets who were about to fight.
The ground shook where the two cadets were standing. At that instant, walls of earth rose up and continued to erupt from the ground.
"Shit... Who are you?"
"Ahaha... No, damn it."
The two cadets groaned as they tried to dodge the earthen walls that emerged from the ground.
At that moment, two giant earthen hands emerged from the ground, striking the cadets, but they began to counterattack.
"Burst!"
Fireballs fell on the large earth hands, destroying one of them.
Grey lunged forward as sharp spikes of water appeared behind him. At that moment, as he waved his hand, the thorns shot out. One of the cadets raised a wall of fire, but the other was scratched in the process. Grey stepped up and, with his fist wrapped in water and earth, struck the cadet who had been covered with fire.
"Ah!"
The cadet screamed as he went flying backwards a few feet. Quickly, Grey turned his body, looked at the other cadet who had scratches and, raising his hand, caused a pillar of earth to erupt from the ground, striking the cadet's torso and lifting him several meters into the air.
Grey then formed spheres of water, filling them with a bit of earth in the center. He held them up and tossed them toward the falling cadet.
"Thud!"
"Thud."
As he hit the ground, the cadet was knocked unconscious.
"Damn..."
Grey turned his head and saw the other cadet standing as he wiped his face with his forearm. The cadet glared at Grey and then his fists filled with fire. Around him, spheres of fire appeared, forming a circle in a row.
"Ha, this will be annoying."
Clicking his tongue, Grey lifted a pillar of earth from the ground and water spikes materialized around it.
"Damn bastard."
At that moment, Grey's attacks moved, but so did the cadet's.
A rain of fireballs fell around Grey, but at the same time, the water thorns and the pillar of earth struck the cadet all over his body.
"Burst!"
Dodging the zigzagging fireballs, Grey stopped at the sight of the unconscious cadet on the ground.
"Haaa..."
Grey's breath and gasp became evident. Sweat trickled down his cheeks to the floor.
"Dripping." "Dripping."
Several beads of sweat fell to the floor. He was exhausted after exerting so much effort to move and calculate the movements of his two opponents.
"This will continue," he thought to himself as he wiped the sweat from his forehead.
Looking around, he could see several cadets fighting against each other. Some of them, who were not yet wizards, were falling defeated very easily as Professor Bridget quickly arrived to take them away. It was a scene where various colors of mana and different types of magic were exploding everywhere, both in the air and on the ground.
"Rumble."
The ground shook from time to time from the attacks of the cadets hitting the ground.
"Hehehehe," a laugh escaped his lips.
At that, he continued running and ran into a cadet who had defeated three cadets in record time.
"What are you looking at?" said the cadet.
"You fucking bastard, if you knew who I was, you wouldn't act like this," thought Grey.
Lightning bolts appeared around Grey at that moment and, with a grin, the cadet appeared in front of him, his fist wrapped in small blue lightning bolts surrounding him.
Using his arms, Grey covered himself and was pushed back several meters. Quickly, pillars emerged from the ground and began to attack the cadet by surprise, but he managed to dodge the zigzagging pillars.
Gritting his teeth, Grey made several water arrows appear around him and then launched them.
The cadet, his body covered in lightning, blocked Grey's attacks, but at that moment, Grey's fists were already wrapped in a layer of earth with stones. He struck the cadet right at that instant.
"Ahaha... Damn you!"
Gritting his teeth, the cadet pounced as lightning struck all around him and his feet, filled with blue sparks, propelled him to run faster.
Grey was covered by a thick wall of earth at that moment. The cadet's punches impacted against the wall.
"Starburst."
Chunks of earth flew around Grey and the cadet.
Grey raised his hand, and two pillars came out of the ground as water began to pour from his hands, filling the place and moving toward the cadet.
The water hit the cadet in the face, making him lean backwards. Then, a pillar of earth hit him in the back, knocking him to the ground.
Grey did not stand still and struck the cadet with large hands that emerged from the ground.
"Punch."
Both grounded hands landed on the cadet, instantly rendering him immobile. Grey looked up at him as he went limp, recoiled and fell back in a sitting position.
"Haaa..." Grey sighed and wiped the sweat from his forehead.
It was exhausting to fight several cadets in less than ten minutes, especially with the mana consumption it caused Grey.
Getting up, Grey continued to search for more cadets to defeat.

-Scene change.
-Julian Reinhard's point of view.
"I meet no one."
Julian walked across the snowy field without seeing anyone, though he could hear the rumbles of the other cadets as they fought; they were sounds coming from everywhere.
"Hehehehe," he chuckled quietly.
Looking ahead, Julian finally found a cadet.
Quickly, his body was surrounded by lightning as the wind around him went out of control. Rushing towards the cadet, Julian sent several bolts of lightning, which, propelled by the wind, moved with greater speed towards their target. The attacks came, but at that moment, a large wall of ice appeared instantly.
Julian was taken aback, but quickly left it behind, and with the sparks appearing on his legs, he moved faster. Directing the wind around him, the crackling beams headed toward the cadet, who braced himself and raised ice spikes from the ground, directing them toward Julian.
Leaping up, Julian dodged all the spikes and, with sparks flying from his hand, caused the spikes to explode in the process. Without resting, Julian quickly directed a bolt of lightning in a straight line with the help of the wind, hitting right next to the cadet.
"Damn, I missed."
Trying once more, Julian this time managed to hit the attack, but only on another wall of ice.
Disappointed, Julian slid across the ground with the help of the wind at his back, reaching the cadet's back. Then, his fist filled with blue sparks, and struck the cadet, who turned his head only to see a fist charged with electricity approaching.
"Punch."
"Burst."
Looking at the cadet, Julian stepped closer, but at that moment, a spear of ice flew right past him. Jumping back, Julian kept his eyes wide as he saw the cadet get up.
"Heh, you thought you'd beat me just like that."
"Well, I was sure he hit you pretty hard," Julian said.
"You're right... I can barely use my legs, the electricity rendered them almost immobile."
"I didn't think of that."
"Whatever..."
"Rumble."
The ground shook and then spears of all sizes shot out of the ground, heading for Julian. Driven by the wind, Julian easily dodged the attacks, filled his hand with lightning bolts and threw them. He manipulated the air around him and redirected the previous lightning bolt toward the cadet.
The cadet tried to cover himself with a barrier of ice, but his legs weakened and he fell to the ground.
Julian surveyed the scene and quickly gathered momentum, catching the cadet with a bright blue pillar. A bolt of lightning fell from the sky, striking the cadet.
Sparks flew through the air as the wind shook at that moment.
"Ahaha... Shit, I didn't think it would be so exhausting to use mana."
I knew this wasn't over yet, so Julian quickly got up.
He continued walking.
There were fewer and fewer cadets, and the teachers were watching everything from somewhere else. Julian fought with several more cadets, defeating each one, until he finally reached a forest.

-Scene change.
-Freddy Siegfried's point of view.
Filling his surroundings with ice and using his water affinity, he froze a ten meter radius, leaving three cadets in the center, slipping.
Spears of ice and arrows of water appeared and struck the cadets.
This continued for Freddy as he met other cadets in his path.
"Monster..." said one of the cadets on the ground.
"Heh," he chuckled as he looked down at the fallen cadet.
It had been a few minutes since the test had started, and already the whole place was clearing out. There were fewer cadets, but that wasn't a problem.
The fewer cadets left, the faster the test would be over.
Of course, Freddy knew that to get into the class one had to give his best in every fight and show all his skills, but as a new mage, he could barely use a few very weak skills. None of this compared to what his older brothers could do.
Nothing was good enough for Freddy, so he continued to pick off more cadets, one after another, until they fell to the ground.
"Haaa," he gasped in exhaustion.
He was exhausted, but he could still continue. The other cadets were too, not just him. After all, there were a lot of cadets, and the place where the test was held was very hot.
Even on the snowy field, he heard one cadet say that, despite the snow and cold, the place was still warm. In addition, the constant consumption of mana was exhausting.
That's why, every now and then, Freddy would stop to take a short break. But when a new cadet appeared in his path, he would start fighting until he defeated him. That's how it went for several minutes.
"Burst."
At that moment, a shower of fireballs fell right in front of his eyes. Freddy got up and stood on his guard.
"Damn, none of you bastards can't get enough of me.... Mmm."
"..."
"..."
The two looked at each other.
"What are you looking at, asshole?"
The cadet in front of him scowled, and then a flame of fire shot up into the sky, falling right where Freddy was.
Freddy managed to cover himself with a shield of water, and at that moment, swords of ice appeared everywhere. The water condensed into ice, and then spiky spheres formed. Freddy launched all his attacks at the cadet, who barely managed to cover himself.
The cadet raised a curtain of fire and launched several fire spheres, but Freddy easily stopped them with a wall of water.
A hand of water appeared and hit the cadet, while ice arrows shot towards him, hitting him all over the body.
At that moment, the fireballs came and were stopped by Freddy's water hands, who moved them towards the cadet and hit him again.
"Damn..."
Without letting the cadet speak, he was hit in the abdomen by the water hand and pushed backwards, falling backwards in the process.
Freddy looked down at the cadet, who was knocked unconscious.
"It was no big deal... But I'm more tired now."
Freddy sat on the floor and watched as Professor Bridget appeared and then disappeared. As he looked down at the floor, he noticed that the cadet was nowhere to be seen anymore, which left Freddy speechless.
"How did she do that?"
Was the thought that crossed his mind as he remembered what he saw a few seconds ago - Professor Bridget appearing and disappearing without a trace. He didn't realize that, meanwhile, more cadets were coming toward him....
