Vulcan strode into Jian's chambers, his eyes scanning the room until they landed on his friend. "Jian, it's been too long," he said, his voice warm with familiarity.
Jian looked up from his meditation, a hint of a smile on his face. "Vulcan, welcome back. I see you've met Huo."
Vulcan's gaze narrowed. "Yes, I have. And I sense that there's more to her than meets the eye. What do you know about her past?"
Jian's expression turned serious. "Very little, I'm afraid. She was found by the river, with no memory of who she is or where she comes from."
Vulcan's eyes gleamed with interest. "I think I might be able to help with that judging from those letters you sent to me, I sensed some special powers emit from her when I set my eyes on her just now and it was magical and strange" Vulcan said
"What do you mean? and how are you going to help?" Jian asked
"First we need to keep a close eyes on her while doing some research but mind you my mother doesn't have to know about this research cause she wants me to stay away from any work that has to do with kingdom for the time being"
"I understand, the queen probably wants you to get some rest after being away for two centuries" Jian said and Vulcan nodded. After a few more discussion and strolling Vulcan bid his goodbyes and left.
In a brightly lit room a baby was neatly wrapped and held by a beautiful woman dressed in a queen's attire with the maids playing and chattering around, the queen smiled happily and cheerfully. A man filled with royalty walked in and headed towards the queen. The maids went mute for a while on seeing him
"Let me hold our daughter for a little while" he said smiling warmly that was the fire pheonix king Zhiyu.
Queen Shu blushed, as she handed the baby to King Zhiyu, her eyes shining with warmth. "Of course, my dear. She's been asking for her father."
King Zhiyu cradled the baby in his arms, his face filled with joy. "And how is our little phoenix faring today?"
The queen's smile faltered for a moment, before she regained her composure. "She's...strong. Like her father."
The king's eyes narrowed, his gaze piercing. "And her powers? Have they manifested yet?"
The queen's voice was evasive. "Not yet, my dear. But it's only a matter of time."
King Zhiyu's eyes gleamed with excitement. "I can't wait to see our daughter spread her wings and take to the skies. The Fire Phoenix's legacy will live on through her." just as he said that a strong force broke into the room.
"Huo!" Liang called touching her forehead with the back of his plams.
