"Curiosity often kills the cat"
Hadley Grace
The corridor is silent, with only the faint creak of the floorboards under my feet as I approach the door at the end of the hallway. Something about it feels different, more foreboding than the others I've passed. It's almost as if the door is hiding something, something it doesn't want me to find. My instincts kick in, a sixth sense honed over years of training and countless missions. The door is locked, but that doesn't stop me. In one swift motion, I pull out my lock-picking tools, the metal glinting under the dim light. The lock is no match for my skill, and within seconds, the mechanism clicks open with a satisfying pop.
