Chapter 114 - Not my step mom, my real mom died

Fahim's Room

Fahim lay on his bed, his expression one of deep frustration.

From his vantage point, he saw a round, glowing object floating in front of him. He reached out, touched it, and held it in his hands. Suddenly, the object transformed into a book.

He sat up and began flipping through the pages. The pages seemed endless; each time he turned one, a new page appeared, emerging from the cover. The text was written in an unfamiliar, ancient language.

"I don't understand what's written here," he thought, closing the book.

On the book's cover, a glowing button caught his eye. He pressed it, and the book vanished, replaced by a floating window system in mid-air.

The window began scanning the room, and its algorithm started translating the text. Beneath each word, translations in both English and Bangla appeared.

"It won't help me. It's impossible that I'll be able to save more lives than those who have already died because of me. But still, I'll try to save everyone I can," Fahim thought.

At that moment, the door opened, and a man entered the room.

"Fahim, I'm sorry I didn't come to the tournament. I was busy with work. A few days ago, your mom gave birth to your sister, and I couldn't take more time off because I had already taken leave for her birth. I'm sorry," the man said.

"Dad, did I say I was angry? Why are you even trying to explain? I know what was going on," Fahim replied.

---

"Yeah, I know, but your mom was worried about you, so I came to talk with you about this," said the man.

"Dad, my mom died," said Fahim.

"What? What do you mean by that?" asked Fahim's dad.

"Yeah, I'm talking about my mom, not my stepmom. She died today, right in front of my eyes. Because of your persistence, I was never able to meet my mom after she was sent to jail. For your persistence, today was the first time I saw my mom after six years. In a state where we couldn't even talk. I just saw her die in front of my eyes. And now..." Fahim was speaking with a loud voice when his dad stopped him.

"I still don't understand why you're still calling that bitch your mom." Says The Man ( Fahims Dad)

"Yeah, for you she's a bitch. Obviously, she's a bitch, that's why you married another woman without even waiting a week and gave my mom's position to another woman.

You just didn't care about my mom. Why would you? You married her when she was only 17, and you were 30 at that time. Almost half your age. I remember you used to come home, sleep, and then go to work again. You didn't even give her time. She was 30 years old then, a time when a woman needs a sexual partner or a mental partner the most.

Look, I don't support what she did. I don't support that at all, but if you had given her enough time, she wouldn't have done that," said Fahim with a loud voice.

"Shut up! Don't make me slap you," said Fahim's dad, raising his hand.

The woman entered the room and said, "Please, don't do that. He's not a kid. Also, I think he's going through a hard time. You should forgive him for what he said." She then turned to Fahim, "Fahim, what happened? Tell us."

"Leave my room. Both of you, leave my room and leave me alone," said Fahim.

"The more you grow, the more uncivilized you become. That's all because of your mom's persona," said Fahim's dad.

"Hey, don't say something like that. If he feels better alone, I think we should go," said the woman, and both she and Fahim's dad left the room.
