Tamim lay on the ground, bleeding profusely. His left arm and right leg were severed, and pain surged through his body. Fjink's clone stood beside him, a cruel smirk playing on its lips.
A black energy ball formed in the clone's hand, ready to end Tamim.
At that moment, a small portal materialized, swallowing the attack. The portal redirected the energy to a distant desert, where it detonated in a massive explosion.
Fjink's clone whirled around to see Faria, who had conjured the portal. "Impressive! You healed yourself so quickly. I can't understand how you guys are regenerating from my erase attacks. They're supposed to be anti-regenerative. How is this possible for low-third-dimensional beings?"
"Wh... who are you? And why are you doing this?" Faria demanded, her voice shaking.
"Me? I'm no one, just a clone of Fjink," the clone replied, the smirk never leaving its face.
"A clone? If the clone is this powerful, how strong is the real one?" Faria thought, fear creeping into her heart.
"Every single particle of Fjink can think and act on its own, and I am one of those harvested particles," Fjink's clone explained.
Meanwhile, Tamim's body healed, and he stood up, his arm and leg fully regenerated.
Fjink's clone turned back and saw Tamim standing. "Damn, you're also fast at healing. Both of you are different, but the aura and vibe coming from you are unique," Fjink's clone said, a hint of curiosity in its voice.
Faria moved swiftly, delivering an elbow strike to the clone. Fjink's clone blocked it effortlessly, but Tamim teleported to the other side. Fjink's clone grabbed Faria's elbow and tore it off, causing her to jump back in agony.
Tamim teleported back and kicked the clone's head, but Fjink's clone blocked it with his hand. At that moment, Faria healed her arm and fired an energy ray at the clone. Fjink's clone, still holding Tamim, teleported into the sky, dodging Faria's attack. He aimed a punch at Tamim's head, but Tamim teleported back to the ground.
"I have to destroy the boy's eye. Otherwise, he'll keep slipping away," Fjink's clone thought as he landed back on the ground.
"Faria, do you have any plans?" Tamim asked, desperation in his voice.
"I have no idea. We're fighting one-sided. He's just too powerful, and without our regenerative abilities, we'd be dead," Faria replied, her voice filled with despair.
Fjink's clone landed and smirked. "And that's not even a percent of my power. More importantly, I'm just a clone, and you guys can't even scratch me."
The clone teleported into the air and clapped. Instead of a sound, the clap generated black smoke that quickly enveloped the entire destroyed city.
From Tamim and Faria's perspective, the smoke engulfed them instantly after Fjink's clone clapped. Everything went dark, and they were unable to see anything.
Tamim tried to use his x-ray vision to see through the smoke, but his abilities failed him. His eyes teared up, turning red, and his body started to act strangely.
He looked at his arm and saw his muscles shrinking, his energy being drained. He felt weak, pain coursing through his veins, and fell to the ground in agony. Suddenly, Fjink's clone kicked him in the face, sending him flying back several meters. His skull was severely damaged.
Tamim couldn't use his powers and was unable to see anything in the deep darkness. Fjink's clone aimed another kick at Tamim's head. Tamim, barely seeing the attack, blocked it with his hand, but his weakened state made the defense futile. The hit connected with his face, causing more bleeding.
Tamim screamed in pain, but the smoke muffled the sound completely. Fjink's clone attacked Tamim relentlessly from different directions, bringing him to his knees. The clone grabbed Tamim's hair, lifting his head up.
"See... humans are nothing to me. The smoke just blocked your power, and instantly you became like a dog to a cat, unable to protect yourself," Fjink's clone taunted, a twisted smile on his face.
Saying this, Fjink's clone created an energy ball and plunged it into Tamim's chest. His hand came out through Tamim's back, breaking his spine.
Tamim tried to stop the hand, but he was too weak. His skin burned while holding Fjink's clone's hand, exposing raw flesh underneath. Blood poured from his mouth.
