Eveline was so cautious about Gabriel after seeing his unwavering gaze that she forgot about her awkwardness and turned to face him.
"What is wrong with you?" She asked, turning to look directly at him, "Why do you keep looking at me like a creep?"
It is been over twenty minutes since she entered his room to study. She followed his instructions despite not being interested in what he had to say and went inside in an attempt to end the session, but Gabriel did nothing but stare at her.
Before Eveline arrived at his door, Gabriel's mind was still occupied with the dream he had seen. For an instant, he was afraid she was gone, but then she appeared before him, still alive, and that was reason enough for him to exhale in relief.
The way he saw Eveline fall from the balcony, her eyes completely dead as if she was not expecting me to be there, nearly stopped his heart. How could a simple dream feel so real?
