A couple reclined on the car roof, wrapped in a comfortable quilt, under the starry night, with their car parked at the top of the cliff.
The cool breeze continued to blow, but the night provided a distinct level of comfort that kept the couple warm in each other's arms.
"Feeling better?" Gabriel inquired, shifting his gaze from the sky to Eveline.
"Hmm, I wasn't expecting this much comfort," she remarked, meeting his grey orbs.
Gabriel, unable to control his need, leaned in and kissed her lips. It wasn't long, but it did help them both settle down.
"I was getting nervous, but this helped me," she smiled, keeping her chin out and pointing to the sky.
Gabriel continued to stare at her as she gazed at the stars. However, a phone call quickly interrupted his serene moment.
Gabriel pulled out his phone and answered it.
"Okay, we'll be right there," he remarked, catching Eveline's gaze as she frowned.
