Eveline jerked awake when she realized she hadn't returned home last night.
She searched around but couldn't find Gabriel anywhere.
"Hn, where is Gabriel? We must return home." She wept and immediately climbed out of bed.
Eveline dressed and turned to go when the room door opened and Gabriel strolled in, holding a plate of breakfast.
"Where are you going?" He asked nonchalantly as he made his way to the bedside table.
He kept the tray on it and stared at Eveline, who was rushing towards him with anxiety.
"Gabriel, we need to go home. I informed Mom and Dad that I was not going to come home."
"I already have. So don't worry, they already know you're with me," Gabriel assured her, and she blinked.
"You did? Already?" She inquired, and he nodded before grabbing her hand and assisting her back to the bed.
He helped her sit, then picked up the tray from the table and placed it between them before taking his seat.
