Stefan never left Ella alone for even a second. Even though her fever had abated, he didn't want to leave her alone and decided to stay the night.
"Your mother will curse me if you don't return home. She is already upset because you are always out and don't have time for them. She believes you're always with your girlfriend," Ella continued, trying to persuade him that she was doing better and that he should go see her, but the man refused to listen.
"Isn't she right?" Stefan chuckled as her expression became severe but he disregarded her and proceeded.
"And so why would she curse you? She doesn't really know who you are. And what's wrong with always being with you? Not everyone wanted me to be in a meaningful relationship. I'm already in one, so they best not create that drama," he declined, instead helping her rest on the bed after eating their dinner and forcing her to drink those pills she clearly despised.
