The sound of steady breathing echoed across the silent room. However, a specific person was unable to sleep.
Priscilla stared at the man, who appeared to be fast asleep, gently pushed away the comforter, and slid down the bed.
She quickly grabbed her phone from the side table and rushed out of the balcony without making any sound.

"What do you mean by she isn't answering your calls?" She slammed, repressing her voice while scolding the person on the other end.
"How could I know? Perhaps she blocked my phone number," the man responded, equally enraged as she was.
"Jack I assume you were able to scare her, but you failed. You can't even keep hold of one woman. How are you going to help me?" She snapped, her blood pouring through her veins, furious at a squandered opportunity.
