Meanwhile, Gabriel became alarmed when he realized Eveline was missing.
He instantly excused himself and walked towards Mark, questioning Eveline's whereabouts.
"Where is Eveline?" He inquired, but the anxious expression on the man's face prompted him to grab out his phone and call her.
Gabriel's brow wrinkled when she didn't respond, and his worry increased.
"Damn," swearing, Gabriel dashed out of the event hall and kept calling Eveline.
Regardless, she did not respond.
Just as he was going to call his security, he noticed a petite figure emerge below.
As if seized by an invisible force, Gabriel dashed towards Eveline and drew her into his grasp.
"Where have you gone? I told you not to evade my sight. Why weren't you answering my calls?" Gabriel's voice cracked as the notion of someone hurting her struck him terribly.
By God's goodness, she was safe and in his arms.
