"Aunt Susan!" Eveline's voice pulled her out of her thoughts, and she saw her move closer to her.
"I believe you should take leave. I'll be staying with dad, and Gabriel is also here."
Susan looked at her thoughtfully before nodding.
She knew Eveline was safe with Gabriel, so she didn't have to worry.
"Okay, but I'll be here tomorrow morning with breakfast. "Master will not like the taste of bland hospital food," she murmured, and Eveline smiled at her concern before seeing her go.
By the time Susan left, Gabriel had returned answering a phone call.
"What happened?" Eveline inquired, noting the anxious expression on his face.
"It was a fatal accident. We're lucky that nothing happened to Uncle or the driver."
Gabriel had already requested that the police investigate the accident when Eveline notified him about it.
