Jacob had been extremely cautious around his wife since Susan handed Tiffany over to the the police. It was unusual to see her being so harsh on her daughter, and he was afraid that if he made a mistake, she might go along with it.
He had been thinking about ways to get Tiffany bail for the past two days, but the charges against her were not something trivial that could be reduced by a certain amount.
She attempted to murder two individuals and was apprehended after providing compelling evidence.
"This Jonathan and his daughter have made our lives miserable. Just when I thought things were going our way, they turned against us," he growled through his teeth, unable to control his anger for them.
