Lilith returned to her clinic after receiving a call from the receptionist regarding an appointment.
She explained it was an urgent appointment from an old patient, but because she was a new one, she missed to tell her the name.
Lilith groaned and pushed her phone back into her bag before opening the door to her cabin.
"Welcome back, Dr. Lilith"
When she heard that voice, a shudder ran down her spine and her entire body remained frozen.
He was sitting in her place at the table.
His gaze swept over her, his lips curved into a menacing smirk.
Lilith's knees gave up and she stumbled a little.
"A-Alex what are you doing here?" She inquired with her parched throat.
Lilith had been quite obedient to his threat, which came in the form of a phone call or text message, but his unannounced visit to her clinic was out of the ordinary.
