Eric pushed open the door to his room, and caught a glimpse of the lone white back sitting by the window. Eric uttered a soft sigh as he entered the room without a word.
" The maid said you didn't eat today." Eric put his hand gently on Evelyn's shoulder, he asked softly, " Is the food not to your liking?"
Evelyn said nothing, but gazed vacantly at the sky outside the window, her white face clouded with grief.
" Evelyn, don't be like this." Evelyn was half crouched before him. He held her hand, " Say something to me will you?"
Evelyn pulled her hand out of Eric's as she turned her head, " Leave."
"Evelyn, even if you don't eat or drink, there's no way your father or those in the pack will come back to life. " Eric persuaded, "What's done is done, you can't just live in pain."
"And who caused all this? " Evelyn questioned, "Who the hell made me live in pain?"
