Dolly dug into the wood, and she could sense her mate close at hand. " Hurry up and get him." Dolly's wolf urged her eagerly in her brain, and her voice was full of excitement and longing.
" Calm down, lady." Dolly told her wolf, " He's nearby."
She closed her eyes a little, and concentrated all her energy on trying to catch that pheromone in the air, to find out where it was leading her.
Just as Dolly was about to make a determined movement deeper into the woods, a tall, erect figure suddenly appeared before her like a phantom. The shadows of the trees, swaying and interwoven as if they were mischievous spirits, playfully obscured his face, and only dimly revealed his stalwart silhouette. The man stood silent before Dolly, his deep eyes shining with a blazing brightness in the darkness, like the brightest stars in the night sky, deep and entrancing.
