Gunfire and shrieks rang in Emily's ears, and as she looked at the confused scene before her, images of past memories flashed through her mind like lightning.
The deja vu images tell Emily that she has experienced the same thing before.
Emily's headache began to ache again. The more she tried to remember the images, the worse the headache felt.
" Emily, run." Dolly called out to Emily. Emily could not move her feet, they seemed fixed in place.
A cannonball fell across the dark night sky in Emily's direction. " Emily!" Dolly screamed and tried to rush forward, when one of the fleeing men knocked Dolly to the ground.
" Look out." Alpha Robert lunged at Emily at the critical moment, shielding her with his body.
With a loud bang, the shell landed not far from them. Emily was on the ground, and she could distinctly feel it shaking violently. A wave of heat followed and wrapped her in it.
