The plane descended slowly, and out of the window the northern night was singularly cold and mysterious. The airport's lights twinkled like bright stars in the darkness, illuminating the busy land.
Emily and Klaus step off the plane, followed by Dolly and Marx. A black royal car was already parked beside it, and they got into it to return to the palace.
As the car meanders through the downtown streets, Emily leans against Klaus, her eyes peering out the window.
