Klaus's kisses trailed down Emily's neck, one hand resting on her waist, the other silently unfastening the buttons of her dress.
Emily made a feeble attempt to push Klaus away, but she soon realized that her strength was no match for his.
"I just want you to know," Klaus said softly, "that you're not submitting to me."
Emily looked at him quizzically as he knelt down before her, tilting his head up to meet her gaze. "I am the one submitting to you. My Queen, will you allow me to help you through this special time?"
"Oh, Klaus," Emily exclaimed, not expecting such a powerful Alpha like Klaus to offer himself to her in this way, and out of consideration for her feelings.
Emily's pride and self-respect, which she had been clinging to, disintegrated in an instant. She bit her lower lip slightly before nodding her head in agreement.
