Collapse.

Collapse.
Reformation.
The entire astral plane was in a state of continual collapse and reformation due to the battle between Hades and Hyperion. If not for the Mythical World's self-repair mechanisms, the clash between these two god-kings would have caused the astral plane to truly collapse.
Of course, this was due to the unique nature of Hades and Hyperion. For most god-kings, collapsing the astral plane would not be possible. The astral plane and the Black Sea are integral parts of the Mythical World's protection. If they were so easily collapsed, that would indeed be strange and troubling.
However, Hades and Hyperion were exceptionally unique.
The Helm of Invisibility, the Divine True Sword.
Dark Stars, Sun Guardian Stars.
Hades Ouroboros, Red Lotus Ouroboros.
The two gods!
They seemed like reflections of each other, with everything corresponding, similar yet distinct.
This similarity between the two gods, paired with their terrifyingly powerful laws, highlighted the incredible strength and power of their divinities.
"It's time to begin!"
"..."
Hades remained silent at Hyperion's words, yet his actions mirrored them.
Behind Hyperion, a massive tree began to emerge, the World Tree, spreading its roots and growing as if embedding itself into the astral plane. Upon closer inspection, one could see that this World Tree was surrounded by star-like luminaries, with countless followers praying devoutly, providing Hyperion with a continuous stream of faith power.
Similarly, behind Hades, a dark purple World Tree grew, surrounded by the shadows of the Eight Great Hells and the Star Palace, among others. Although indistinct, one could faintly see what they represented.
As the two World Trees took root in the astral plane, the chaos stabilized, signaling to all the gods that these two were prepared for a life-and-death struggle.
However, the most shocked were Poseidon and Zeus. They had never expected Hyperion to cultivate a World Tree from a world seed.
Not only did Hyperion manage this, but it was somewhat understandable given his status as the strongest of the twelve Titan gods. It was not surprising that he could cultivate a World Tree, similar to what Kronos could have achieved if he had desired. However, Kronos had focused solely on perfecting his laws, seeing all else as trivial.
For Hyperion, though renowned as the strongest, he was still far from Kronos in many aspects. Recognizing this, Hyperion sought alternative methods, and cultivating the World Tree was his chosen path. However, Hyperion encountered a critical obstacle, despite using the World Tree's power to break through to god-king status. He was unable to transcend the constraints of heaven and earth.
This limitation allowed Hades' Hades Ouroboros to gradually suppress Hyperion's Red Lotus Ouroboros.
In reality, Hades' Ouroboros should be called the Ouroboros of Heaven and Earth, symbolizing a true Ouroboros, an entity capable of evolving into an Ancient God. In contrast, Hyperion's Ouroboros was merely an artifact.
This disparity was why Hyperion immediately escalated the battle. Prolonging the fight would only lead to his suppression, an undeniable fact. Therefore, it was better to escalate the confrontation.
"As expected!" Hyperion said seriously, "Just as I predicted, Hades! You have also cultivated the World Tree. Otherwise, you could not have reached this level so quickly."
Hades responded calmly, "Indeed."
However, Hyperion earnestly declared, "But it's time to end this, Hades. The victory in this war belongs to me. Let us conclude this!"
With these words, all the Sun Guardian Stars shattered, their energy absorbed by the Red Lotus Ouroboros. Instantly, a radiant light converged, and under this beautiful illumination, a true Symbol of Infinity emerged. This Symbol of Infinity wrapped around Hyperion, forming behind him, exponentially amplifying his divine power.
"The Symbol of Infinity..."
Hades contemplated this phenomenon. The Ouroboros, transformed into the Symbol of Infinity, could perfectly merge the World Tree's divine power with the wielder's, unleashing it to an ultimate level. This amplification of divine power had brought Hyperion to a critical juncture.
"It's not over yet!"
"Hades!"
"It's not over yet!"
The World Tree behind Hyperion rapidly contracted, merging into his body. The glow of the Divine True Sword intensified, as a dark purple light formed armor over his body—the battle armor formed by the Divine True Sword. With the battle armor in place, holding the sword, and the Symbol of Infinity behind him, Hyperion seemed poised to transcend his limits.
"..."
Hades merely watched Hyperion silently, as if awaiting him. Meanwhile, the World Tree behind Hades also shrank, merging into his body. His aura grew visibly stronger, reaching an extreme.
The increase in divine power from both gods left the observing deities in awe and disbelief.
What is this? Are they really this powerful?
