Chapter 147 - Chapter 147: The Second War of the Gods: The Titan War!!!

Hades and Poseidon had no clue about Metis's numerous thoughts and, even if they did, they probably wouldn't care.

The two gods remained calm, more concerned with the details Metis had mentioned. How should the upcoming Titan War begin? That was the critical issue.

"I will seek out Hyperion," Hades spoke first, his voice calm.

However, Hades' words caused Poseidon and Zeus to become serious. Hyperion, the Sun God, was the strongest among the twelve Titan gods. Hyperion and Coeus were considered Cronus's right and left hands, but Hyperion was far more formidable. One thing was certain: Hyperion had definitely reached the level of a God-King. Just how powerful he was now, no one knew.

"No problem," Zeus said, becoming serious. "Hades, you killed Iapetus and Coeus. Did they die permanently? What about their essence?"

Zeus's question was straightforward. If the essence could be utilized, hunting down the twelve Titan gods would not only weaken their invincible father but also bolster their own strength.

Hades opened his hand, revealing two essence crystals and two items of divine essence. "The twelve Titan gods cannot truly die. Even if they are utterly destroyed, they will leave behind essence crystals. With the right divine power, they can be revived and return to their peak in a short time."

Poseidon and Zeus frowned. This was a tough situation. Could they only seal them? Was there no way to destroy them completely?

"No way to destroy them," Hades continued, understanding his brothers' thoughts. "The essence of the twelve Titan gods represents the essence of the earth. The same goes for their divine essence."

Got it! No need for further explanation! Poseidon and Zeus were not fools. They understood that the twelve Titan gods and their essence were linked to the earth itself. Unless they could destroy the earth, they had to accept this unstable factor, a potential bomb.

How to destroy the earth? Simple! Kill the Earth Goddess.

"Ugh..." Zeus sighed, frowning. "This is really troubling. Hades, do you think the essence crystals and divine essence can be sealed?"

"I can't do it. You try," Hades replied, handing the crystals and essence to Zeus without giving him a chance to refuse.

What the heck! Zeus wanted to curse. Am I a trash collector? But now that the items were in front of him, he had to take them. It would be embarrassing not to.

Finally, Zeus gritted his teeth and accepted the items. Poseidon nodded and said, "I will face Oceanus and Tethys. The sealing will be up to you, Zeus."

"Alright!" Zeus nodded, regaining his composure. He calmed himself. Though the items were troublesome, they also presented a good opportunity to connect with Gaia. If he could seize this chance...

But Hades and Poseidon understood Zeus's thoughts. They knew the potential risks of dealing with Gaia. Sometimes, what you wish for might not turn out well.

In conclusion, the plan was set. Zeus calmly stated, "In that case, I will handle Crius and Mnemosyne."

Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus each chose suitable opponents among the twelve Titan gods. Dealing with them would weaken Cronus.

This weakening might not be sufficient, but in war, any reduction in the enemy's strength was crucial. Coeus and Iapetus were already dead at Hades' hands. Poseidon chose to face Oceanus and Tethys. Zeus chose Crius and Mnemosyne. Including Hyperion, that made seven Titans. Excluding Cronus and Rhea, only three goddesses remained: Theia, Phoebe, and Themis.

After confirming their plans, the three God-Kings left with their followers.

As Hestia walked beside Hades, she said softly, "Lord Hades, it seems Zeus is very interested in sealing the twelve Titan gods. He might plan to make a deal with the Earth Goddess."

"I know," Hades replied, his tone softer with his sister. "Zeus's plan is dangerous. Once the Titans are sealed, they won't unseal themselves voluntarily."

Without saying more, Hades knew the implications. Making a contract with Gaia and then breaking it would have dire consequences. Hades suspected that the special position of Earth Lord might be controlled by Gaia and that Athena received it after Zeus deceived Gaia regarding the Titans. This led to the subsequent events.

Of course, Gaia's authority meant little to her as the Creator. This had nothing to do with Hades.

As Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus left the Heart of the Ocean, it symbolized that the Second War of the Gods: The Titan War had officially begun!
