However, such an onslaught, such a barrage of attacks, seemed insignificant in Hades's eyes. From start to finish, Hades showed no emotional fluctuation.
Holding a pitch-black divine sword with one hand, he effortlessly blocked all of Coeus's attacks. It felt almost like a joke, giving an incredibly strange impression.
But Coeus couldn't worry about that. As time went on, he could feel the vast difference in pure strength between them. It was a gap that words could hardly describe, the gap of true equality beneath the God-King level.
"Huff... Huff..." Coeus was even panting, an absurd situation for someone of his level. That was the truly strange part, making it even more bewildering.
Yet, the fact was undeniable. Coeus was not only panting but also consuming a tremendous amount of divine power. Despite having his guardian star to replenish his strength, the relentless barrage still drained him immensely.
Even so, Coeus remained sharp and vigilant, understanding the importance of not letting his guard down.

"What is he waiting for?" Coeus pondered after a round of attacks. "What is Hades waiting for? Why is he acting this way? Why?"
Coeus couldn't understand what Hades was doing. It was too strange, even eerie. Hades could easily kill him with his power.
Moreover, Hades had stepped into the God-King level, and with the Dark Emblem, he could temporarily wield power comparable to an Ancient God. Why could the three new-generation God-Kings—Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus—challenge the Titan God-King Cronus after reaching the God-King level?

These were artifacts prepared by the world to let the three God-Kings temporarily step into the realm of Ancient Gods. With these artifacts, the three God-Kings could simultaneously reach the level of Ancient Gods. Even if they couldn't defeat Cronus one-on-one, what about three against one?
