Chapter 83 - Chapter 83: The Fourth Investment! The Underworld God!!!

Erebus and Nyx, this pair of ancient gods, carried a peaceful smile. They seemed to have considered everything, and the result of all this didn't seem to matter to them at all. This feeling left others unsure of what to say.

Hades did not ask many questions. For him, continuing to inquire would be meaningless. What he needed to know and understand, he already knew. As for more questions? It would be pointless!

Hades was also preparing to leave. There were many things he needed to prepare and handle, and he really didn't have time to continue chatting here.

Erebus stopped him, saying, "Hades, wait a moment."

As Erebus spoke, figures began to emerge from the darkness. Leading them were two gods dressed in pure white robes, one with golden hair on the left and the other with silver hair on the right, both with a pentagram on their foreheads.

"Father!"

"Mother!"

"Lord Hades!"

The two gods first bowed respectfully to Erebus and Nyx, then turned to face Hades, kneeling on one knee. In an instant, two divine hearts appeared, clearly signifying their intent.

The God of Sleep: Hypnos.

The God of Death: Thanatos.

In the original stories, they were the loyal twins of the Underworld King, gods who would never betray him. Now, they knelt once again before Hades.

However, there was a significant difference in their divine power. These twin gods possessed the power of Chief Gods, unlike in the original stories where they were merely Second-tier or even Third-tier Gods. This huge gap in power was quite puzzling.

It's not suitable to overthink this, though. After all, for gods, schemes and plots always existed. Moreover, in the original stories, Hades had perfectly exemplified the saying "man is the knife, I am the fish."

Hades refocused, quietly observing the two gods without speaking further. The process was not over yet. As time passed, more gods emerged from the darkness.

A god with hair like the night sky, looking about forty or fifty years old, possessing the power of a Chief God: Aether, the God of Space.

A goddess with long silver hair, appearing as a refined woman in her thirties, possessing the power of a Chief God: Hemera, the Goddess of Daylight.

A goddess with long dark purple hair, perfectly embodying destiny, possessing the power of a Chief God: Moirae, the Goddess of Fate.

It's worth noting that the Goddess of Fate is unique. Moirae is the name of Fate, but Moirae essentially comprises four goddesses: Klotho, Lachesis, Atropos, and Ker, who are individually Third-tier Gods.

It seems unbelievable that four Third-tier Gods could combine to wield the power of a Chief God, but it's true. Fate is a very special law, and the fusion of the four fate goddesses into one complete Goddess of Fate merges more than just their divine power.

If one day these four goddesses could ascend to the level of Major Gods or Chief Gods, their combined form as the Goddess of Fate would possess the power of a God-King. However, cultivating the law of fate is extremely difficult, making their progress extremely slow.

Additionally, there was:

A god with pitch-black hair, appearing emaciated like a skeleton, possessing the power of a True God: Moros, the God of Doom.

A goddess with long dark red hair, beautiful but filled with brutality, possessing the power of a Major God: Keres, the Goddess of Violent Death.

A goddess with long dark purple hair, with a sinister smile, possessing the power of a True God: Momus, the God of Satire.

A god with long blood-red hair, towering and imposing, possessing the power of a Major God: Karsus, the God of Destruction.

A goddess with long pale orange hair, always with a sorrowful expression, possessing the power of a First-tier God: Oizys, the Goddess of Misery and Woe.

A goddess with long pale golden hair, with a proud expression, possessing the power of a First-tier God: Nemesis, the Goddess of Retribution.

A goddess with long pale blue hair, always smiling, possessing the power of a First-tier God: Apate, the Goddess of Deceit.

A goddess with long golden hair, with perfect beauty symbolizing love, possessing the power of a First-tier God: Philotes, the Goddess of Love and Friendship.

A goddess with long dark hair, with a cold expression like eternal ice, possessing the power of a First-tier God: Kakia, the Goddess of Vice.

A god with long grey-white hair, with a normal face on the left and a decaying skull on the right, possessing the power of a Major God: Geras, the God of Old Age.

A god with long dark green hair, exuding an aura of decay and indifference, possessing the power of a Major God: Eurynomos, the God of Decay.

In total, 11 gods: four Major Gods, two True Gods, and five First-tier Gods. These were the children of Erebus and Nyx, some were their direct offspring, while others were self-generated by Nyx.

For gods, self-generating other gods is quite simple, almost like single-cell division, especially for an ancient god like Nyx. She had the duty of producing gods representing various laws, and these gods were all such examples.

Led by Hypnos, Thanatos, Aether, and Hemera, including the four fate goddesses, there were a total of 19 gods, all children of Erebus and Nyx.

This added up to five Chief Gods, four Major Gods, two True Gods, and five First-tier Gods.

This was already a formidable force. Even among the countless Titan gods, not just anyone could reach the level of a Chief God.
