Chapter 76 - Chapter 76: Meeting the Titan God-King Again! Underworld King, Cronus!

Hades took the Origin Stone and all the divine items and treasures, only leaving when he was sure he had thoroughly scoured the area.

Whether Tartarus was aware of all this? He probably was. Even though he was in slumber, if something was wrong within his own body, wouldn't he be aware of it? Clearly, it was impossible for him not to know.

However, Tartarus chose not to stop him. The fact that Tartarus had simply placed everything here showed that he didn't particularly care about any of it.

Otherwise, as a primordial god, if Tartarus didn't want something to be found, could he make it so? Absolutely. The truth was that Tartarus simply didn't care.

After Hades left, a faint shadow flickered into existence and murmured softly, "Hades, you have finally obtained everything. Well, it's not important. There's no need to worry about it."

The shadow disappeared again. To him, whatever happened here wouldn't affect his own plans. Everything else? It was all meaningless to him.

Hades left the sealed barrier and returned to the Underworld. He looked around calmly and walked to the center of the Underworld. He removed the Cloak of Invisibility and waited quietly. What he was waiting for was normal, and there was nothing much to say about it.

As time passed, little by little, a dark figure gradually emerged from the shadowy depths of the Underworld.

As this figure appeared, Hades watched silently. After a moment, he said calmly, "Father, it's our second meeting."

"Hades," the figure replied, filled with endless indifference and calm. He appeared the same as Cronus, yet there was a fundamental difference.

He gazed at Hades, his expression serene, and said, "After such a long time, compared to Zeus and Poseidon, your actions seem slower. You've only arrived here now."

"Everything must be meticulously prepared," Hades replied quietly. "If one is not fully prepared, then even if one comes here, the outcome is already determined and meaningless."

Cronus said indifferently, "The Lament of the Gods is in your possession as well. If my calculations are correct, you hold the last vial of the Lament of the Gods."

"Yes," Hades replied calmly. "The last vial is indeed with me. However, I believe preparations must be thorough. Otherwise, everything is meaningless."

"Hades," Cronus said slowly, "you are different from Poseidon and Zeus. While they follow the path laid by fate step by step, you are attempting to gradually alter its course."

"It's an inevitable result," Hades said quietly. "Father, following fate's plan step by step is meaningless. Even if one can continue down that path, the result is still meaningless."

Hades' voice was very calm. Indeed, as Hades said, being a puppet of fate, no matter how you proceed, what difference does it make?

Obviously!

For anyone who understands, they know the outcome ahead of time. It's all meaningless. The result of fate is there, no matter how hard you try. It's all predetermined.

"I can't deny that," Cronus acknowledged Hades' point. "Indeed, Hades, you are different from the other two gods. You are more clear-headed, and you understand what everything ultimately means."

Hades did not respond to his Titan God-King father's words. He simply watched the Titan God-King before him.

To be precise!

Anyone with some understanding and thought could grasp the essence of it. Cronus, as the second-generation God-King and the only one who ruled the heavens, earth, sea, and Underworld, managing everything as the Titan God-King.

Yet, he too had his issues. Cronus had already become a primordial god, having escaped the bonds of fate. So, why did he continue his actions to this day?

Power!

Cronus was a God-King who valued power greatly. He truly wished to wield his power, and this likely was Cronus's intention, though others were unaware.

This wasn't strange. For the gods, what Cronus aimed to achieve was unknown, but his actions were undoubtedly aimed at taking that crucial next step.

Hades understood this, which is why he knew his father had left four avatars.

Heaven, Earth, Sea, and Underworld.

Each avatar represented the qualifications of these four God-Kings, symbolizing their respective positions. The one before Hades now was the Underworld King, Cronus.

This avatar represented the God-King of the Underworld, possessing a unique essence. His Underworld origin was Hades' own origin.

For Hades to take the next step, he had to reclaim the Underworld origin from this Underworld King, Cronus. Otherwise, all his efforts and plans would be meaningless.

This had always been Hades' goal: to kill this Underworld King, Cronus, and reclaim his origin. This was what he had been preparing for all along.

As for the difficulty?!

Ha ha ha~~~

Even if it was just one of four avatars, it possessed power comparable to the pinnacle of a God-King. Without using the Lament of the Gods, theoretically, he stood no chance.
