Chapter 43 - Chapter 43: The Sun God: Helios, The Atlas: Atlas, The Destruction God: Perseus

Hades had managed to pluck a total of 108 King Fruits from the Golden Apple Trees before he had to stop. He could no longer touch or take any more golden apples. Hades understood the implicit message. There was no other deity or reason to prevent him from continuing—only one entity could impose such a limit. With this realization, he turned and left. The 108 King Fruits were enough.

"…"

As Hades departed, a spectral figure of a woman in a long gown with dark purple hair and an elegant posture materialized. She gazed emotionlessly at Hades's retreating back and then looked at the Golden Apple Trees before fading away without a word. Although she didn't speak, an aura of infinite sorrow emanated from her. The reason for this sorrow was known to very few gods.

She was the owner of the Golden Apple Orchard.

The Creator Goddess of the Greek Pantheon's Mythical Great World.

The pinnacle among the eight ancient gods.

The Earth Goddess: Gaia.

Hades left the orchard of the Golden Apple Trees, noticing that the illusions did not reappear. It was as if the illusions were too annoyed by his absolute rationality to bother with him anymore.

Outside the orchard, Hades stopped. Three gods were already waiting for him.

On the left stood a Titan god with a bald head and bronze skin, radiating immense divine power typical of a Chief God.

On the right was another bald Titan god, with skin like molten lava, whose destructive power caused the surrounding environment to constantly collapse and reform.

In the center was a god with golden hair, dressed in a white divine robe, who appeared like a refined and elegant nobleman.

To be precise.

The three of them gave the impression of a young noble out for a stroll, flanked by two formidable bodyguards. They all emanated immense divine power, clearly at the level of Chief Gods.

Hades calmly observed the three gods before him. He recognized one and quickly deduced the identities of the other two.

The Atlas: Atlas.

The Destruction God: Perseus.

The Sun God: Helios.

It is worth noting that Helios, the Sun God, was the son of Hyperion, one of the twelve Titan Chief Gods. Hyperion was the true wielder of the sun's authority, while Helios, as the Sun God, mainly mastered the laws of the sun.

Atlas was the brother of Prometheus and the son of Iapetus. Perseus, on the other hand, was the son of Crius, the Titan Chief God of the Galaxy. These three Titans were second-generation Titan gods, like Hades, who belonged to the third generation of gods. However, they referred to themselves as Titan gods, while Hades was known as a new god.

In essence?

Well!

In essence, there was no significant difference. Both were third-generation deities, just labeled differently—one as Titan gods and the other as new gods.

These three Titans possessed formidable divine power, fitting the title of Chief Gods, and lived up to their heritage.

Both sides stood silently, creating a tense and quiet atmosphere.

After a long pause!

Helios finally spoke calmly, "Hades, it's a pleasure to meet you. Unfortunately, today will also be our last meeting. Although you are the firstborn of His Majesty, the command to kill you comes directly from him."

Helios's voice held no trace of anger or arrogance, resembling the demeanor of a cultured noble. This was typical in an era populated only by gods, where Helios often interacted with the second-generation gods. Thus, he maintained a polite demeanor, concealing any pride within.

Moreover, Hades was not weak; he possessed the power of a Chief God. His battle with Iapetus had spread among the Titans, making his strength known to all gods. This ensured that Helios would not adopt the stereotypical haughty attitude of a villain. Acting arrogantly would imply a desire to die or an inability to live any longer, a notion that needed no further explanation.

"Nice to meet you," Hades responded calmly. In fact, all four deities were of the same generation, their fathers being among the twelve Titan Chief Gods.

"Roar!"

Perseus, however, had no interest in talking. Filled with destructive and aggressive laws, he was a violent god by nature. He let out a beast-like roar and charged at Hades like a wild, untamed stallion.

Perseus clenched his fists—his left hand embodying the law of destruction, his right hand the law of annihilation. These two powerful and aggressive laws were brought to their full potential by Perseus.

"…"

Hades remained silent, but he instantly felt a surge of terrifying divine laws crash down upon him. Perseus had somehow amplified the power of both laws a hundredfold.

This was not just a basic application of laws but an extraordinary technique. The fact that this technique came from Perseus, who seemed simple-minded, proved the principle of never underestimating any god. Even a beast-like god like Perseus could be exceptionally skilled.

Hades did not retreat. He summoned divine power in front of him, forming a shield to block Perseus's onslaught. Under the combined enhancement of the Demon Star and the World Tree, the shield held firm against the devastating law-infused punches of Perseus.

At this moment, Atlas also struck with a punch from the side. As the god who supported the heavens and a god of immense strength, his divine power and laws were equally formidable.

With Atlas and Perseus attacking together, Hades's defense was overwhelmed. Faced with the combined force of two Titan Chief Gods, the divine law shield was shattered, forcing Hades into a retreat.

At this juncture, Helios made his move. He raised his hand, and pure golden solar flames erupted, engulfing Hades in a blaze of divine fire. The solar flames possessed the divine power to incinerate everything.
