The boy almost fell to the ground but someone immediately catch him. The boy looked at the person. The person is a matured girl with a long caramel colored hair, pointy ears like fox, and emerald eye colors.
The boy smiled at the person and said, "Thank you sister Risa." Yes, it was Risa herself.
Risa smiled at the boy and help him stand up and she said, "Just don't run around too fast or else you'll get injured."
"Ok," the boy still run too fast playing with his playmate and all that Risa can do is smile and said, "Sigh, I told that kid to don't run too fast."
An old man tap Risa's shoulder's and said, "Just let him be he's just a kid, there's no need to be strict at him."
"Elder, Banri is may be a child but he has to be careful. He will meet our future God so he have to stay safe. He's the only one who knows what our future God looks like. He must be protected at all cost. We never know what might happen."
Banri approach the 2 like he noticed that both of them were talking about Banri. He looked at them with a annoyed expression and said, "Will you please stop worrying too much. I may not look like it but I can handle myself. Besides if I'm really going die right now I already made enough preparations."
Banri looked at Risa seariously and said, "Risa, no matter what I say you always believe in our God no matter what!"
"What do you mean by that?"
Banri couldn't reply any further when suddenly the morning sky turns into darkness as a huge black clouds covers the whole sky and thunders and lightnings echoes all throughout the lands.
Banri looked up at the sky like he already expected it to come and said, "It's finally here,"
Risa looked at Banri again and she can see the searious expression of Banri like something searious is about to happen and he said, "The world ending waves is back. Listen Risa, whatever happens here from then on just listen to her."
You can see at Risa's face that she's so confused and she said, "Banri, why do you sound like you're going somewhere? What's going on?"
"I'm not going to disappear. I'll be just here leading you to the new God." Banri was saying something more but Risa can't hear it when chains of lightning shoots the land and after the lightning disappears vicious monsters can be seen.
Banri looked at Risa like he's about to cast an order and said, "Risa, I want you to protect everyone. Kill all the monsters and that's an order."
Risa looked so worried and asked, "What about you?" A screeching sound of a bird can be heard.
Banri and Risa looked at the sky and saw a giant black phoenix burning down houses, lands, and people with it's burning breath of fire.
Risa looked at Banri with worried look and said, "Banri, you don't have to do this."
Banri looked at her with searious look and said, "But who will beat that thing? No one else can fly at this village except me. If I don't make a my move now everyone will die. We have no other choice but don't worry. I will win."
Banri smiled and he transformed into half beast and half human and he said, "My beastification will destroy this phoenix."
At his beastification his a adult male. He have black and golden hair and same goes with his long wings. He have golden eyes and sharp pupils like a snake. He have sharp fangs and class and he also wields a golden harpoon clad in a lightning aura.
He looked at the phoenix and point his harpoon like he's declaring war against the phoenix and said, "I will kill this monster so Risa I want you to take care of the small fry's.". All just Risa can do is bow down and abide to Banri's orders because she can see that there's no stopping Banri. It's already a do or die.
As he said it he immediately fly so fast and fight the phoenix while Risa is killing the monsters . There's nothing pulling them out of that situation.
Alicia got curious and asked, "So who won the battle between the phoenix and Banri?"
Risa just sighed like something nobody will call as victory and Risa said, "It was a hard battle. Both sides don't want to lose and in the end Banri won the battle. He managed to kill phoenix but he lost his memory. He used a powerful attack and sacrifice his memory to save us all but the worst is yet to come."
Alicia looked at Risa seariously like Risa is about to say something searious and she said, "3 days later, a temple knight from Saria domain came."
Saria? That name sounds familiar. I think I heard it somewhere before, well whatever.
Risa continued and said, "The knight warned us and said that if we don't surrender Banri in the next 3 days the holy church's full power will be unleashed upon all therianthrope fox. The holy church will wipe us all out in the next 3 days."
Alicia looked unfazed and said, "So it's true that at every Isekai stories Church are always the suspicious organization." I have a feeling that the shitty Goddess is behind this. She's really is the worst God out there.
Risa got curious at what Alicia just said and she asked, "What is this Isekai stories that you're talking about?"
Alicia forcefully smiled and waved her hand like she's trying to avoid the question and she said, "Oh it's nothing. You don't have to know that. Anyways, what happened 3 days later?"
Risa looked seariously and her mood starts to change. "It wasn't 3 days later. More or like 2 days later our home village drive us away."
What?! That can't be right?
Risa continues, "The whole village abandoned us. Probably because they don't want to get caught with the temple knights rampage. The whole village just barely survived because of the black phoenix rampage and they can't afford to go through another problem like this."
Upon hearing this Alicia stopped thinking and just listen and Risa said, "I understand that the battle between Banri and the phoenix caused so many lives taken away and the village is still in the middle of recovery form that battle. What I don't understand is that why did they abandoned us? Why none of them stood for us?" While saying all this Risa's fist are shaking in anger. Her eyes are getting sharper and she's breathing like a hungry beast.
Alicia raised her hand to get Risa's attention and she said, "This is just my opinion but I think never abondoned you."
Risa looked angrily at Alicia and asked, "What do you mean?"
Alicia just ignored the question and she said contiued, "They just don't have a choice at this point. They probably have given their all fighting the waves of monsters during the first wave. Fighting another battle in just a short matter of time will put the whole village into a catastrophic break down ."
Risa got heated with the argument and said, "But Banri saved them. They should at least gave him some kind of help." Is she stupid or what?
Alicia tap her head like she just heard something stupid and said, "You know that's not gonna work right? A village is a village you can't expect so much from it. The whole village experience a massive damage from the world ending waves. You can't expect them to give you special treatment."
Risa stood up and said, "So what you're trying to say is that we shouldn't saved our home village since they won't care for us?"
Alicia just looked at Risa like she feel sad for her and said, "Look I never said that. What I'm trying to say that they have no choice at this matter. They just managed to survive thanks to Banri's help and seeing him at this situation made them realized what they have to do."
Alicia stood up and walk for a moment and she said, "Considering that you can kill the monsters from the waves means that you're one of the strongest within the village and if you're struggling against the forces of the temple knights that just shows that the village will be innahilated if they protected you. You of all people should know that better than me."
Alicia smiled and took her clothes of and she said, "Whoever is the leader of your village he has a good eye on assessing the village situation. It's quite surprising that there are guys like that here."
Risa saw that Alicia is taking her clothes off and Risa asked "What are you doing? Why are you taking off your clothes?"
Alicia looked at Risa with annoyed look and said, "Of course I'll be taking a bath. What exactly do you think I'll be doing?"
Risa got angry and said "But taking of your clothes right infront of my brother. Have you lost your mind?"
Alicia looked at Risa's brother and said, "But your brother is already fast asleep."
Risa looked at her brother to verify if he's really fast asleep and it seems to be true and she said, "But still…". She didn't managed to finish because when she looked at Alicia she saw her hidden beauty when Alicia take off her blind fold.
She saw her innocent and charming beauty andd her blue eyes. Alicia also noticed that Risa is awfully staring at her and said, "Risa, is there something wrong with my face?"
Risa shakes her head like she snaps back and said, "Oh it's nothing, you can take a bath now."
Alicia noticed that she's avoiding eye contact and blushing like a red tomato.
Wait, don't tell me Risa is in to this kind of thing? She's creeping me out. I should distance myself from her.
Alicia walks away like she's running away from a creep and Risa wisphered, "What the hell is this? I'm a girl not a man so why does my heart beat so fast?"
This is weard through and through.
Alicia keeps on walking until she reached a hot fog and beyond the fog a hot spring can be seen.
Alicia smiled and said, "Finally, it's time to taste the feeling of out door bath."
Alicia slowly walks like someone who just wants to relax and said, "Haaah, it's so relaxing. Good thing I set my tent near here."
While Alicia was relaxing and taking a bath a brewing chaos caused by her previous battle is taking it's shape.
Within a castle…
There are people talking face to face at a long table. One of them is Roland and the others are high ranking noble official but there's is one exception. He is a old man clad with jewelry and wears a crown that signifies that he's a king.
Roland bow down and said, "That summarizes my report your highness."
Everyone was baffled about Roland's report.
"A woman clad in white dress like a whore fight an ancient Demonoid. This is unbelievable."
"What's more unbelievable is that she erased an entire town like nothing."
"Oh right, that town. That town was created as a sign of peace between us and that Lawless country. If that town was razed into ash that country might see this as a declaration of war."
Everyone was became much more worried because of what that noble just said. Everyone looked at the king like they want to seek advice on what to do.
"Your highness what should we do? Should we prepare a our soldiers for war?"
"You know even if we prepare for it we can't fight that country."
"Yeah, that country has a vast military power compared to us also that country is also founded by so many countries around the world. We can't fight such a superpower country like that."
The king was already getting annoyed at the constant talking so he slams the table and he said, "Will you guys shut up for moment. I'm trying to think of what to do here!"
As the silence slowly takes over the whole place was taken over by a loud foot stop like someone whose approaching them is wearing a black corporate shoes. At every foot steps you can hear metals ringing like they are crushing with each other.
They can also hear a staff like a metal stomping to the ground at every foot steps. It took a moment but the foot steps stops and they saw 2 nuns entered. Both the nuns move to the side like a very important person is about to enter.
An old man clad in white robe like priest entered the scene. He have long white hat that symbolizes he has a high ranking status within the church and he wields Golden staff like a wizard.
Everyone was surprised at the sudden appearance of the priest.
The king stood up in surprise and reachout to him personally and said, "Archbishop Milhaze, it's a pleasure to meet you. Why did you suddenly visit. Did something searious came out?"
"What that's our archbishop?"
"What is he doing here?"
"Is something searious about to happen?"
Milhaze look sad and fold his hands like he feel pity and said, "Our Goddess heard your sad transgressions. She saw what happened at the black market and all the soldiers and the civilians were wiped out at that battle."
Roland got his eyes wide open out of surprised and said, "What?!" Everyone got wiped out? What is going on here?
Milhaze raised his hand like someone who see the light for the first time and said, "That light that was supposed to save everyone from that demon was all part of an evil purpose."
Everyone was surprised at what they heard including the king himself and he asked, "Evil purpose? What do you mean by that?"
Milhaze looked at the king seariously and said, "The blindfolded demon got this all planned right from the start."
The king was surprised at what he just heard and said, "What?"
"Your son is always a constant costumer of the black market town and that blindfolded demon saw this as a opportunity to create war."
"What the hell?!"
"A war with who?"
Milhaze smiled as he hears the question rises from the nobles and said, "War with the lawless country, Falios."
The king was enraged and said, "What, we tried are hardest to create peace with that country to avoid war and now we're gonna wage war against them has she lost her mind? How is this going to spark into war anyways?"
One of the nobles stood up and said, "Your son turned into a demon that country could mistaken this as an act of war. They might think we finally figured it out how to create demons for ourselves and they'll see us as an enemy."
Milhaze smiled at the noble and said, "You're a smart one. You managed to figure out that demons plan. What's your name young child?"
The noble man answered, "My name is Elias Von Galvis."
"As expected of the hero Galvis descendant. You're are smart and intelligent just like him."
Milhaze looked at the king with sad looking expression like he's fooling the king and said, "Now your highness, the reason why I'm here is that. The church want to hunt down that demon and bring her to justice. We want to bring justice to your son's death. We're going to bring justice upon Leo and the other dead civilians."
Upon hearing this Roland couldn't keep his silence anymore. Roland stop Milhaze from speaking any further and said, "Your highness, this priest was just fooling you. He's lying, to begin with there are no life casualties at all. If all the civilians and soldiers died there show us the evidence!"
The nun to the left took out a ball like crystal and it shows an image of dead burning people within the blasted crater along with the demons.
Milhaze smiled and said, "Is this the horrible proof that you want us to show? When we got there to investigate this is the twisted scene that we see, different from what you reported."
"You're lying!"
"Lying? We the church people got evidence to support our claims but what about you? You got nothing, you left the scene and runaway in fear leaving your man behind and as a result they all perish and step on to the after life or probably you're working under this demon behind everyone's notice. You plan to overthrow the royal family. You lead the demon in and got their filthy hands to Leo and turn him into a demon."
The nobles were shock at what they just heard
"What? Roland wants to overthrow the royal family?"
"This is madness."
"Well, Roland has been with the royal family for a long time already. It's not surprising that he'll be tempted to rebel."
Roland looked seariously and said, "And now you're accusing me? What evidence you got to prove that I planned all this?"
Milhaze smiled and raised his hand like victory is at hand and he said, "The fact that your were there at his last moments shows that you wanted the royal family to die but you can't do it so you let the demon do you a favor and kill the prince. However, you realized what you have done is wrong so you runaway and let everyone else die."
Roland was taken a back and he looked around and saw all the nobles within the room looking at him like he's a criminal. Roland tried to defend himself and said, "That's not true!"
Before he can speak any further the king finally speak up and said, "Roland, you're disappointment. I trusted you, I have you protect my son and this is what I'm going to hear?"
Roland finally realized that he was being setup. He run towards the king and touch his hand to beg and he said, "That's not true your highness. I'm just being set up."
The king pulled his hand like he doesn't wanna hear what Roland is going to say and he said, "If it weren't for you years of service I'll be executing you right here and now. From now on I don't want to see your face anymore. I'll be relieving from your duty so pack your things and get out, leave your armor and sword, you don't deserve it."
Roland tried to beg even further but the king turn his back like he doesn't want to face Roland and he got furious. Roland pulled out his sword to kill Milhaze but before he could do that the king fired a magic and said, "ASTRAL SHOT!" The king produced a light beam from his hand and shot Roland that throws him away.
The commotion alerts the guards and they enter the room only to find out that Roland jsbeing knocked out to the ground by the king's magic.
The king looked at the guards and said, "I want you to get this man out of my face and make sure he won't set his foot within the castle's walls."
"Yes your highness."
The guards drag Roland out while unconscious.
While everyone was silenced at the turns of events Milhaze claps and he said, "As expected of his majesty. Despite his treacherous acts you gave him mercy and let him live. Are you going to soft with your punishment?"
The king looked at Milhaze seariously and said, "What are you talking about? Living life in disgrace and misery is much more painful than dying. He will have a hellish life a head of him."
Milhaze just nods and said, "A wise word from a wise king."
"By the way, so the reason you are here is because of that demon?"
Milhaze smiled and said, "Yes, our Goddess wants to get revenge and show no mercy to that Demon. We're going to hunt down that vile demon and take her head for the sake of justice."
