"Push!..You have to push." The doctor shouted as he tapped her laps.
Sara had lost all her strength as this was the third child and she was on the verge of giving up. Sara couldn't see anything as her vision became very blurry and covered in white, and she made the last push which made her unconscious as the sound of the baby was heard.
Sara could hear the voice of Ken clearly in her head. She and Ken had become close during this period, standing in as a friend and helping her throughout her pregnancy. She could hear his voice vanish into the air.
"You made it. I'm so happy for you," Ken said.
They started carrying out treatment to revive her back. Sara saw herself following a figure, and the figure led her to a gate. As she was about to enter, she heard the cry of her baby, which helped in reviving her back to life.
She opened her eyes and requested to see her children. The nurses tried to calm her down, telling her she needed to be strong before she sees her children as she had just become conscious. Sara still insisted, and they finally showed her her kids.
She was so happy when she saw them, as the sight of them made her stronger. Her precious jewels were finally out, and she was overjoyed.
"Beautiful kids you have there," Ken said, smiling as he had been watching her from afar.
"You need to continue your treatment so that you will be strong for them," Ken said reassuringly.
Sara agreed to what he said and looked at her children before she left. Sara thanked Ken for always being there for her during her hard times.
"It is nothing. I did what I had to do," Ken replied.
"Thank you once again," Sara concluded.
Years later, the triplets had grown as she had raised them single-handedly, all by herself, and also with the help of Ken, who is more like a father figure to them. They saw him as their father and would always ask Sara about their Dad.
Sara needed to do things to take care of her family. She needed to work to provide for them, relieving Ken as he had been the one supporting her. She needed to take a fresh start.
"I have a friend that owns a company; I think he needs a worker. I'll talk to him about you," Ken said as Sara told him about her quest for a job.
"You have really done a lot for me. I don't have to thank you enough. You are really a good person," Sara said, grateful.
"I'm just doing what I am supposed to do because I really care for you," Ken said shyly.
Sara was confused as she didn't want to reason what he said, and she immediately changed the topic.
"What do I offer you?" Sara said, trying to change the topic.
"Oh, nothing. I'm fine," he replied.
Ken had started having feelings for Sara, but he didn't know how to tell her. He had loved her before she met Jose, but she chose Jose over him. He had to kill his feelings as she was interested in his friend, as he didn't want to destroy their relationship. He had to kill his feelings for her, and now it was coming back with force, in a way he couldn't control it.
"Alright, I'll have to take my leave. Please extend my greetings to the kids when they are back," Ken said as he stood up to adjust his clothes.
"I will talk to my friend about the job, and I'll definitely get back to you," he added.
"Thank you very much," Sara replied.
She escorted Ken out, and he hugged her. This was the first time they hugged, and she was so surprised by this as a series of thoughts popped into her head, and she tried to shove the feelings off.
Ken was about to say something; he wanted to tell her about his feelings, but he couldn't. He didn't know what her response would be. He jumped into his car, waved goodbye, and left.
Sara was happy by the news, and she prayed it yielded positive results. As she was about to sit on the couch, she saw a phone.
"Oh, Ken has forgotten his phone," she thought.
As she raised the phone, she found out that her picture was used as his wallpaper. Sara became surprised and confused as she didn't understand the reason. Her instinct was telling her to go through the phone as she would uncover hidden things.
She opened the phone as it wasn't locked, and she went through his gallery and noticed that half of her picture was in his. She became afraid as she had never seen any of this before.
"Could this be obsession?" Sara thought.
Then she remembered the mysterious message from an unknown person. She wondered if Ken was so into her, he would definitely be the one that sent her that message. Sara immediately checked the date of that message on her phone and traced it on his phone. Instantly, she saw the exact message on his phone.
"So Ken knew about the affair between Fiona and Jose, and he didn't tell her all this while?" she thought as she felt betrayed.
Then she had a knock on the door and was eager to open the door as she knew it would be Ken, and she needed some explanation. Ken entered and saw his phone in her hands, and he knew his secret had been unveiled. He quickly collected his phone from her hand and asked her the reasons for going through his phone.
"Can you tell me what my pictures are doing on your phone?" Sara asked curiously.
Ken became silent as he didn't know what to say. He stood there looking at Sara. He knew he had been caught.
"The pictures are fine, that was why I used them," Ken stuttered defensively.
"Fine? Most of my pictures are in your gallery, even the ones I'm sure I didn't take are also there. Are you stalking me?" Sara asked.
