True to his words, Jade was in his car and they were driving out of town. She was still trying to get over what Levi had told her this morning. She had thought about it all morning in class, and she found herself editing only his pictures.
The car was silent, but it wasn't uncomfortable. At least they were headed to someplace that should be fun and make her forget what had been on her mind since morning. What was she going to do with Theo if she eventually agreed to be with Levi? She never denied her feelings for him, they hadn't even gotten a proper chance to figure things out. Maybe they would at the beach house.
Jade sank further into her seat and let out a sigh. Overthinking was hard work, and it had taken up all her mental and emotional energy. The air was as nice, and slowly, she fell asleep watching the sky as Levi drove.
