The next few days were rough for Jade; she was falling back on her assignments at the academy, skipped a lot of classes and alcohol was her new best friend. After she had left the house that night, she had spoken to neither Levi nor Theo, they were the bane of her existence for now.
Claire had given up trying to make her sober and forget about everything. It wasn't that Jade did not want to process her feelings and was using alcohol to numb her pain, it was the fact that she did not know how to heal from everything.

Jade groaned visibly which earned her stares from the people around but she couldn't care less.
