Jade had no idea how to react to what Levi had just said. His head rested on her shoulder, while his hands were on either side of the kitchen island, trapping her in.
"Sir," Jade called out softly, trying to get him to put some distance between them.
Levi looked up at her, his face inches away from hers. "Call me Levi, I want you to call me by my name Jade Marie," He said in a soft cajoling way.
It was hard for her to put her thoughts together with this flimsy space between them. If she moved her head a little bit, their lips would connect. So she stood still, her eyes transfixed on his darkened pupils. His hand traced her jawline and caressed her face, his hot breath fanning her cheeks.
