Levi looked down at her, and at her hands holding his.
"Is this the wine talking or Jade Marie talking?" He asked, turning towards her.
Jade cracked a small smile, "It's Jade talking,"
There was a long pause before Levi decided to kick off his shoes and join her in bed. He pulled her closer to him and let her snuggle in his chest. Jade let out a small sigh, she felt warm and not alone and finally, she felt sleepy. Maybe she could get used to strong hands holding her like this, and the warmth of another person enveloping her.
"Are you comfortable?" Levi asked,
"Yes, I am. Thank you for this, I just didn't want to be alone tonight." Jade replied.
