Chapter 62 - Of Screen and Powder

After a few minutes wait, the screen on whirred to life again. The man looked around and upon seeing the two, he flashed the screen green. Kabek waved a thanks and looked thoughtfully at Nelly on the other side. Nelly's cheeks didn't feel as much on fire as before. Her heart had barely stopped from going overboard. 

"Do you know what shipment he is carrying?" Kabek asked and wiped some beer from his mustache. 

"My plan is simply to force my way into his good graces. Honestly no idea, but that won't stop us."

"Fair enough, you were quite decisive in kissing me."

"Revenge," Nelly said and barely held on to the eyecontact between the two. It was hard to not rip apart her gaze, the welling embarrassment trying to falter her. If Kabek saw something of her internal turmoil it was unreadable on his face.
