The bedroom was sparsely lit, enough for a warm glow to shield them from the dark outside. Red was laying in on top of Nelly's arm, a bodies coiled in an embrace. There was something so inherently human about skin to skin contact, something so deep in their heritage that made brought comfort in ways nothing else compared. Vampire's could be considered human variants, not a different species in of itself, much of what made humans so human—were still an integral part of a vampiric life.
"Do we need to ponder about our future?" Nelly asked Red her hand absently running up and down Red's back.
"If you are talking about Green and the others being in the know. Then no."
"Yes and no. Tell me about your imagination of how our paths follow each other." Nelly said, moving her free hand on Red's thigh. Nelly couldn't see Red's face, which was nestled close to her chest.
