Chapter 1 - The girl breaks out

"You know you're banned from going to the human realm my daughter." The Lord of Hell stated as he gazed down upon his progeny that had prostrated herself before him. Her pink hair draped along her slender frame like a curtain with a few locks resembling the bright blue clear sky that was in the far away realm that she wished to visit. Her golden eyes peaked out through her bangs as she raised her head to speak to her father.

"Father you know this is my long held wish to visit the realm of humans that my mother oversees. I swear on our name that I won't cause any conflicts if I visit that realm." Her pale face was calm while a bevy of emotion swirled inside her as she met the stone gaze of her father.

Lucifer's own red eyes glared down into her golden ones as he spoke once more. "Absolutely not. It matters not what you swear on or by, the answer is final. You may be able to keep yourself in check but the same can't be said for your Grandfather or his despicable minions. Your mother is the only good one out of their lot and neither her nor I can protect you sufficiently in that realm. Now begone from my sight, the court will be gathering soon."

Biting her lip Lucielle slapped the ground as she pushed herself up, causing the ground to sprout numerous fissures due to the excessive force she had used. Turning on her sneaker clad heel she stormed out of the throne room. "Stupid Father. I'm not a kid anymore and I can certainly take care of myself especially in regards to defending myself from angels and demons alike." Her angelic face was twisted in anger as she wandered down the winding gothic styled hallways towards her private wing.

Various demons bowed and saluted Lucielle as she passed them in the hallways but she was too angry to give them her usual warm greetings, this caused the demons in the castle to surmise that she had been in an argument with the lord again as that was one of the only few ways the princess of Hell would be angered to this extent.

Arriving at her chambers and slamming the doors open Lucielle surveyed her room in all its glory. Anime posters dotted the walls along an entire shelf stuffed to the brim with figurines from animes and content creators from MeTube. In stark contrast to the anime posters and figurines on the left side of her room, the right side was adorned with a variety of weapons which consisted of long swords, katanas, scythes, and quarterstaffs in different styles and designs. Her heart shaped bed was covered in black silk sheets with a huge pink comforter rolled up into a ball.

Flopping onto her bed, Lucielle made a pulling gesture towards her down and it promptly closed itself. Sighing loudly as she rolled over onto her stomach Lucielle glanced over at her desk in the corner of her room, noting that her open laptop had a new message awaiting her. "Ugggggh I don't wanna move from my beeeeeeeeed. Dealing with the old man is always so exhausting when he gets mad about me wanting to go to the human realm."

"If you don't like getting exhausted from dealing with him when he's mad don't bring up the human realm to him then." A hoarse voice rang out from her now open bedroom door as a towering demon stepped into her room.

Jumping up off her bed in surprise as the voice rang in her ears, Lucielle spun to face the demon as he strolled into the room. "Arthur you're back! Did you bring me back any souvenirs this time?" Her face was aglow with happiness and anticipation as she rushed up to the towering demon.

Arthur smiled as his large frame shrunk down into his more human looking form. "Indeed I have Princess. I had enough time between missions to get you some merch of your favorite MeTubers." Arthurs human formed resembled that of a young American, blonde hair and blue eyes with a physique that rivaled most professional athletes. Even in human form however he still towered over Lucielle by a considerable margin.

"Gimme gimme please." Lucielle held out both her hands as she made grabbing motions towards the bag Arthur carried.

Chuckling loudly Arthur handed the bag over to her with one hand while ruffling her hair with his free one. "I know it's not a one way ticket to the human realm but hopefully this will be enough to ease your bad mood."

"Mmm!" Lucielle smiled brightly as she dug into her gift bag while absent-mindedly brushing Arthurs hand from her head. "These were just what I was wanting! Thanks for the gift Arthur." Her disgruntled expression from earlier was replaced with a face filled with happiness and warmth that the demon before her never quite got enough of.

Gazing down at the smiling Princess before him made the millennia old demon feel like a proud uncle. 'No matter how long I may live I don't think I'll ever get tired of that warm smile of hers.' Arthur thought as he ruffled her hair again before stepping back towards the entrance of her room. "Now that I've completed your delivery I must attend to your father though since I still need to deliver my report to him. Have a good rest of your day Princess."

Waving at Arthur as he made his exit, Lucielle began to sort through the various shirts and figurines he had acquired for her before she stumbled over a peculiar looking box at the bottom of the bag. "Huh I wonder what this is?"

The box was decorated with odd looking tentacles and archaic looking glyphs. 'I wonder where the hell Arthur got this from because it's definitely not from any merch store that I know of.' Pulling off the ribbon that secured the lid of the box and popping the lid off caused black smoke to come billowing out of the tiny box. Yelping loudly at the gross feeling smoke that came out of the box, Lucielle threw the box away as she tried incinerating the box with a flame bolt, but it disappated upon coming into contact with the smoke. Lucielle was about to use her eyes of destruction upon the box when a booming voice echoed through her mind.

"Whoa there little missy. Is this any way to greet your adopted grandfather?!?" A floating head sporting a beard made of tentacles appeared from within the black smoke. Red eyes glowed brightly as the air in her room seemed to vanish leaving Lucielle to gasp for breathe.

'Adopted grandfather? Who is that? I don't remember having a grandfather besides God.' Her mind was racing as the head fully came into view and her racing mind came to a complete halt. "Cthulu? You're my adopted grandfather??" What maybe could be considered a smile stretched across his face as he spoke.

"Why yes it is I, Cthulu the legendary outer god and your beloved adopted grandfather come to visit my darling granddaughter in her time of need." His voice continued to rumble through her mind as he gazed down upon her.

"My time of need? What do you mean grandfather and also what's up with the weird entrance? Couldn't you have just come through the front door?" Her breathing had stabilized as the pressure her grandfather had been exuding disappeared. The shadow head that had appeared also vanished as it was replaced by Cthulu's physical form. Cthulu bowed in an exaggerated manner, all the while his smoldering eyes never left her face. "You wanted to travel to the human realm correct? I'm here to spoil my granddaughter a bit by granting your wish."

Her eyes widened as a portal opened before her. "Wait wait! You're telling me that I can actually go to the human realm?!? Just like that?" Her heart was thundering in her chest so hard that it threatened to burst out like a certain alien.

"That is correct Lucielle. Now run along before your father realizes what we're up to." Chuckling to himself at her outburst, Cthulu gestured towards the portal. "Once you're there everything is already set up for you to enjoy your time in the mortal realm. Do try not to cause too much trouble while you're up there."

"You're the best grandpa! I promise to stay out of trouble while I'm out there!" Lucielle dashed into the portal without a moments hesitation, fearing her father would appear at any moment to snatch away this opportunity her grandfather had presented to her.
