Tony began going through the materials. The videotapes, the diaries, and everything else that was in there. He did have some clue what his father was trying to hint at, but he wasn't sure. On top of that, he realized he really didn't have enough time left anymore.
In the end, he had to strap himself to the machine Reed Richards gave him to stay alive to finish the project. The issue was that he had no clue where he should start. But the first and only hint he had received was the huge Stark Expo model. For some reason, the videotapes constantly showed the model of the rudimentary Arc Reactor alongside cuts to the Expo model.
I guess only one thing left to do now.

Stark Industries Headquarters,
Pepper Potts sat in her lavish, huge office, hard at work as the CEO. She had something to prove, shut mouths by showing results. Although the company stock had surged, it was still mostly Tony's doing. So she looked for any chance to prove herself.
Knock! Knock!
Suddenly, the door to the office opened and Iron Man walked in, the metallic footsteps and the joints making sounds she was too used to by now.
"Tony, I don't have time for th—"
To her surprise, Tony didn't even greet her and instead walked towards the right corner of the room where the model of Stark Expo was standing against the wall, covered with a piece of cloth.
Thud! Thud!
Just then, five more Iron Mans walked in.
At that moment Pepper realized Tony wasn't even there. These were Iron Guardians. She quickly dialed Tony's number to ask him what was going on, but to her best attempts, the call didn't go through.
"Please be at ease, Ms. Potts. Mr. Stark has dispatched them to retrieve the Stark Expo model. He intends to display it on his wall." Jarvis addressed Pepper from one of the Iron Guardians. Of course, the AI had learned to lie for its father.
"On the wall? I thought he hated it," Pepper exclaimed and watched the Iron Guardians grab the whole model in pieces and leave her office the same way they entered. "Whatever, I don't have time to bicker with him."

On that same day, in a basement workshop of a billionaire, a new element was theorized. Just a day later, that very same theory turned into reality, giving birth to a new element that had the power to change the world.
"Sir, the reactor has accepted the modified core," Jarvis notified. "I'll start running the diagnostics."
Clank!
The wrench from Tony's hands slipped and fell to the floor. He also fell to his seat with an empty headed shock. "Not the end for Tony Stark, ha?"
Quickly, he took off his vest and removed the old Arc Reactor while grabbing the new one, aiming to place it into his chest.
"Sir, we are unclear as to the effec—"
"I got two days left to live without that damn machine." Tony plucked the tubes attached to his arm. "Run your diagnostics in real-time."
Clack!
With that, Tony fixed the new Arc Reactor to his chest without a second to waste. It was all normal at first, but then the burning sensation took over. From his chest, spreading all over his body through his veins.
"Oh! Yeah!" Tony roared at the new sensation. He could feel his body regaining the lost energy. The toxins were vanishing, there was no doubt. "It tastes like coconut and metal!"
Jarvis continued to study all the vitals in the meantime. "Everything appears, normal, Sir."
"There it is!" Tony muttered, sweating profusely. "Time to get serious about the election now... Ooooh... I really need a drink. Jarvis, I'm feeling generous. Donate a hundred million to the Haiti earthquake relief fund. I heard it's pretty bad this time."
"Two hundred thousand deaths, Sir," Jarvis replied, and executed the commands.
"That bad?" Tony frowned, realizing it wasn't something worth celebrating. "See if we can help them in reconstruction."
After a moment of silence, Tony's eyes fell on the blood transfusion machine, and a smile grew on his face as he remembered a promise from a certain luscious blonde. You suggested it, Sue. Don't blame me now.
"Sir, you have a call from the imposter Professor Amanda," Jarvis notified.
Tony smirked deviously at that. "Did you get me the handcuffs I asked you to order?"
"The box is in your storeroom, Sir."
"Good, accept the call then," Tony ordered, and heard the beep. "What can I do for you, Ms. Kreed?"
"Straight to the point? I like that. I found myself in LA for a conference, and I couldn't help but wonder if the invitation to your mansion still stands."
Stark Expo is at night tomorrow. Tony looked up at his schedule. Morning should be fine.
"For you, the door's always open. How about tomorrow morning? I'll be busy with the Expo at night," Tony replied.
"Works for me," Amanda responded, not much change in her tone. "Then, I'll see you in the morning, Mr. Stark."
"Can't wait," Tony smirked as he ended the call, his mind already buzzing with ideas to make her talk. "Jarvis, clear up my morning till afternoon."
"Sir, I suggest against dealing with her on your own. Our understanding of her is limited," Jarvis cautioned.
But Tony didn't care. "Don't worry, we have a batch of Iron Guardians on standby. Just make sure to record everything that happens and analyze it."
"Understood, Sir."

Tony woke up early the next morning, preparing himself to get answers from Amanda. He grabbed the package Jarvis had ordered and left it in his bedroom before going to take a shower and dress up in a relaxing loose shirt and pants.
Just after he finished the breakfast, he heard Jarvis alerting him of Amanda arriving at his door. Tony waited for Jarvis to check all the surroundings of the mansion to ensure she came alone first.
Then finally, Tony opened the door. Now, it wasn't often that he'd freeze while admiring women, but this time he did. Revealing, yet elegant, those were simple words that could summarize her choice of clothes.
A white babydoll dress that barely reached her knees, wide open from her shoulder, revealing everything from her thin locket-clad neck to her collarbones and the edge of the rising hills. Her sleeves were nothing but decorations, hanging around her smooth arms.
Her bosom wasn't that revealing this time, but the dress was made in a way that her breasts filled up the dress into sizable large mounds. Tightened around her midsection to accentuate it even more.
The swish and flow of her skirt caused Tony's belly to thump with excitement every time it moved. Tony was convinced it was called a babydoll to make all men feel like a starving beast in front of a deliciously cute kitten.
"Hey, Amanda… I mean, Ms. Kreed," Tony exclaimed, shaking his face back to focus on her face. Charming, he had to accept. Her blonde hair was tied in a bun behind while a few fluttering locks adorned the sides of her face.
"Amanda is fine," she chirped, her smile more radiant than the morning glow. Too perfectly carved, Tony felt. "As long as I get to call you Tony."
"As long as you share a drink with me." Tony invited her in with a gesture and led her to the bar near the huge window panes overlooking the sea.
Amanda kept looking around at everything, admiring the modern house. "I had heard the rumors, but this place is beyond my wildest expectations."
"Just my humble little home." Tony bragged and got behind the bar, making themselves a cocktail. Though his eyes never left her face. "Gets better with a… view to admire."
Amanda chuckled shyly, tucking locks of hair behind her ear while taking a seat on the stool. The amount of legs that got exposed when she did that left little room for Tony to imagine. Crossed, her well-toned legs were not that of a professor but a professional athlete.
Just like Natalie. Tony remembered. Though Amanda was slightly taller, and despite her voluptuous breasts, her waist was thin, her hips were admirable. Is it a mask she's wearing? A body can't be fake, can it?
"So…" Amanda awkwardly took out her phone from her small bag matching her sundress. "Last time I said I had something to show you. Since you were interested in that green monster, I decided to tickle your curiosity."
"You're tickling that just fine, Amanda," Tony replied, giving a faint little leer to her crossed legs.
With a coy smirk curving her lips, Amanda leaned in, her voice a sultry whisper as she tapped away at her phone screen. "We found someone who has natural psychic abilities—telepathy, telekinesis. This is a real video recorded."
Tony stopped shaking the drink mixer and looked at the screen with keen interest. Jarvis, at the same time, analyzed it to ensure it wasn't fake.
A red-haired woman was in the video, standing in a big white room alone. In front of her were a few wooden crates. With just a wave of her hand, she lifted the crates and slammed them into the wall. Following that, the red-haired woman guessed the number of fingers and items behind another person.
"How?" Tony asked, intrigued as Jarvis informed him the video didn't seem altered.
Amanda smirked and put the phone back. Leaning forward, she rested her elbows on the table, her chin on her hand. "That is something I can't share. Maybe I'll have to once you become the President."
Tony resumed making the drink, trying not to stare at her bosom and the naked shoulders in that dress. "That's just a matter of time."
"But what would you do?" Asked Amanda sultrily, accepting the glass of a fine cocktail. "There must be a lot of people hidden out there with abilities unknown."
Tony walked around the bar counter and took a seat right beside Amanda, taking the full view of her beauty with his eyes. It felt wrong, however, since he knew the real Amanda was someone else.
"As you said, they're hidden out there. Well, it's high time they put their talents to good use and join society. I'd love to hire them for various jobs—I'm already envisioning it: that telepath as Secretary of State, smoothing over international relations with a flick of the mind."
"Is that so? Putting them to good use, right?" Amanda's interest grew and she leaned forward towards Tony while resting one arm on the countertop. "What about their rights?"
What is she after? Tony felt confused and curious about her hidden agenda.
"Rights? Equal rights, you mean? Well, in this country, we're all supposed to have 'em, aren't we? I mean, I've seen some folks who might as well be from another planet—Zuckerberg comes to mind—but hey, even aliens would get their fair shake here, that's the rule of the game. So, whether you're from Mars or Milwaukee, it changes nothing," Tony replied, and the more he spoke positively about the supposed hidden people, the more he felt Amanda was responding positively.
"Hmm…" Amanda hummed and finished her drink in one go. "That's certainly an interesting thought, Tony."
Her hand subtly, but very much intentionally, slid to land on Tony's lap, gently rubbing over his knee while she locked her eyes with him, leaning in a little closer.
Here she goes. Tony finished his drink as well and slammed the glass aside.
"Just common sense, Amanda," he replied and silently lost himself in her striking blue eyes. He copied her and rested one hand on her other arm that rested on the countertop, gliding his fingers over her smooth, pale skin.
Both of them caressed each other, going up every few seconds. Eventually, Amanda's hand reached the growing hill in his pants, while Tony's wandering palm found her bare shoulder, sliding the back of his hand on her slender neck, slowly going lower and lower to her neckline.
"In that case, I'm afraid the world out there lacks any sense," Amanda replied, her lips inching closer to Tony as if an invisible force of attraction worked on them.
Tony reciprocated, finding pleasure in his plot.
