At the entrance of the coliseum, a group of people was stationed. A woman, seated behind a large table, dominated the scene. She was flanked by two towering figures standing straight and still like statues, while other, more frail men busied themselves holding a parasol to shield the woman from the sun and provide her with a semblance of coolness.
The woman looked up as Lolchess approached. She stopped in front of the table, fixing the woman with a piercing gaze.
The woman cast a nonchalant glance at Lolchess, examining her from head to toe before opening a small chest on the table. She took out a silver-hued medallion and placed it in front of Lolchess with a barely concealed sigh.
"You know what to do, I hope," the woman declared in a drawling voice, her tone filled with an irritating smugness.
Lolchess didn't reply. Her face remained impassive, her eyes fixed on the medallion. Without a moment's hesitation, she placed her right hand on the object.
