"JOSE!! Get ready for school your almost late" someone out called to Jose, nineteen years of age,possessing onyx hair and almond eyes, the voice of the one called him was sweet, a little affectionate, but is carrying a threat of skinning him alive if he didn't hurry up.
"Maria, your bei—"
"And didn't I tell you that stop being formal! Jeez, were already a couple yet you can't even call me sweetie or darling!" Mary, a golden haired girl of the same age cuts him off from behind the door.
"Darling, your being too loud." he finally answered as she wanted. (How was she able to enter the male dorm?) Jose questioned himself.
"Good, now HURRY UP!" she shouted the last words to emphasise how late he is.
"Jeez, just wait a minute okay" Jose hurriedly went to the bathroom, which the school strangely provides for a dorm room of three, to brush his teeth.

A blue screen appeared in front of him as he brushed his teeth and began reading its contents.

"Tsk, I was so excited when I received this screwed system, only giving me despair that it only rewards certain traits based on my personal feats" Jose mumbles after brushing and prepares to take a shower.
"Hey, can you be any faster!? We'll be late in ten minutes" Maria could hardly wait (Jeez, what did you do to make me fall head-over-heels for you)
"Just bear with it, babe, plus we're in the campus in the first place" Jose already done bathing and wears his uniform. "Let's go" he said munching on a sandwich he made.
"You sure that two pieces of bread and peanut butter can get you past the day?" Maria asked in concern. "It can only get you till nine before you go hungry again."
"Thanks for your concern, babe, but I can manage" Jose finished eating while walking with Maria down the hall. (Plus this amount is considered a luxury for me in the past).
"Okay, if you say so." Says Maria cutely prancing beside Jose. (This girl, I'm glad I survived and met you) Jose though smiling.

"Um, can you please get out of our way Richard" While Jose and Maria was just confronted by 'the troublesome trio' of the university. "Plus, I'm sure you don't want a crooked nose or stitches again, do you?" the atmosphere is already to go dark with Jose rolling his sleeves.
The trio, Richard, Jack, and David was a little bit scared but held their ground. "You only got lucky that time Jose, but this time you won't." Richard said, his pals waiting for him or Jose to move and gang up on Jose.
"Stop it you two, we're already in front of the building, the teachers might not be kind this time." Maria tried to stop the two from fighting.
"Don't get in our way Maria, even if I have a crush on you, I won't be generous if I can crack this guy's face open." Richard said. "What did this loser even did for you to fall for him?"
Maria was the main reason why Richard is so aggressive towards Jose, the entire university already knew that Richard was doing everything to date Maria, but when they heard that Maria accepted Jose's confession, almost everyone avoided him. But when Richard marched to Jose's class to beat him, he and his goons ended up with bandages, stitches and casts.
"It's none of your concern Richard, it's my decision to date him." Maria is angry because her love was being questioned. (You may be a perfect match for me Richard, but Jose has things you don't have, and he doesn't even go to clubs,unlike you and your goons) Maria voiced the reasons in her mind.
[DING, DING, DING]
" Tsk, let's go" Richard is visibly irritated, left the scene because the school bell just rang.
"Haaa, now that's over." Jose sighed before he spoke, he then faced Maria. "Babe, care for a date after school?" he asked
"Eh!? S–sure, I can go." Maria stuttered (He's strangely sweet today.) Maria just thought not knowing Jose's having an problem from his dream.
"Good, then see you after school." Jose went to his class. "Have a good day." Maria said behind him.
They went on their separate ways thinking about the date that they were going to have after school is over.
[ —as long as the pay is good we'll gang up on him— *Beep*] someone was talking to the phone behind the corner. (Don't blame me, Jose) the anonymous person was looking at them before disappearing.

{4:21 PM, Outside of the university}
"So, where to, hon?" Maria and Jose are walking together side-by-side in a busy street. "There's a cafe a friend of mine recommended, it should be right over— there!" Jose points to a cafe with the sign 'Peaceful Cafe' written over a coffee mug, like almost all cafe signs are.
"Oh, looks rather— normal." she just said, nothing personal to the owner, but yes normal.

"Was that them?" three men was watching in a distant alleyway, one asked the rest.
"Yes, it's clearly in the picture." said another.
"Alright, he paid us real good, let's wait for them and beat the man." their supposed leader said.

(35 minutes later)
"The food was delightful, Jose." Maria said exiting the establishment followed by Jose. "So where next?"
"Hmmm... I know a lot of places that would be fun, but I don't know where to go first." he tugged Maria's sleeve. "Well, just follow me for now."
They were talking and laughing as they went there way.
"Wow, is that an arcade?" Maria asked, they were heading for a big building just a few blocks ahead, the sign says "Fundom"
"Ye—"
"Hey you two, mind stopping there for a bit?" someone from three men in an alleyway said.
"Yeah, it wouldn't hurt just to talk for a bit, right?" another followed suit.
"What is it? We're not gonna waste time talking to a bunch of goons ruining our date."
Maria, like the tough girl she is, was first to respond.
"Wow! What a lucky loser to find a girl that would be first to bite." they now started to insult Jose, which started to shorten Maria's fuse.
"Hey, shut your asshole for a mouth, will you! For your information, my hon is no loser because he has me, what about you? Got any chicks to care for you?" Maria bravely started an argument with them, surprising the goons as well as Jose by her bad mouth, but got to their nerves since she was right.
"(*Sigh* This girl, I didn't know she had a sharp tongue.)" Jose just thought looking at Maria exchanging harsh words with the goons." Shut it woman, or we'll take turns fucking you!" one of the goons shouted angrily "(What was that?! I dare you say it again!).
"Yeah we'll do this–" one of them said, while gesturing with his fingers, forming a ring and repeatedly pushing and pulling his fingers in and out "–does your innocent mind even know this?" he continues, Jose is already edging, his fists aching.
"Babe, we should probably end our date now, go home and I'll talk with them like a civilised man I am." Jose finally spoke.
"But—"
"No buts, I'm just gonna talk to them, nothing else" Jose said, walking up to face them.
"Kay, just promise you won't get hurt." Maria worried but left when Jose answered "Yes I promise"
With Maria gone Jose faced them and said "Should we start talking." and the goons jumped on him.

A personel of Marikina city MMDA was walking down Moscow Street over Tumana Bridge towards the impounding area when he saw something floating down the Marikina River.
"Wait, are those–"
He just said, while three dead bodies float on the riverbank.
