I was a weak child born to a poor woman who died right after giving birth to me. there i was crying on the ground , covered in blood when a warm hands came and embraced me in them. they were of the person against whom my mother was fighting, the head of Nine Sword sect , LIN QI.
today I am once again on ground covered in blood hoping for that warm hand to save me but i know today he won't be coming.
sometime ago.
" Hey Lin IN Xue, what are you doing in woods" asked a hoarse looking man with broad creepy smile.
" nowhere brother Chi"
" then you're in woods ?"
" I just want to look for Lunar lotus." replied lin xue
"Lunar lotus!!!?, isn't that a herb used mainly in pill making."
" yes it is , I'm looking for it for master wang, he have put condition for all disciples who wishes to join his tutelage."
" good for you i hope you get approval of master wang, but remember not go too deep as a wild boar roam in these areas" said brother chi and then went on his way.
Lin Xue went few more steps when he saw a sparkling white lotus on a mount nearby. assuming it to be Lunar lotus which also emits similar lights , he began to climb the mountain.
just he was about to reach to flower a kick came from top and Lin xue fall on the ground. it was pretty high fall for a weak cultivator like Lin xue.
" it's mine, you swine!!!? came a high pitched creepy voice from top of mount.
Lin Xue who had just opened his eyes and had his one leg leg broken shivered all over body when heard this voice as it was from the one who hated him the most, Lin Fan, the youngest son of LIN Qi.
LIN fan slowly came down from the mount and stepped on broken leg of Lin xue causing him to ache in pain and agony.
a broad creepy smile appeared on the face of Lin fan as he saw Linxue in agony.
" are you alright!!? my brother." asked Lin fan sarcastically
lin xue cliched his fist and started to take some healing pill his mother had given him previously, but just as he was about to swallow them, Lin fan lifted LIN xue by his mouth and started to slap him while asking.
" hey you swine, what right do you have to eat something my mother gave hah?!!!!!!!!!!!
tell me!!!!!? you Adopted bastard
if only you wasn't here, if only you never existed, i would have all the love of my parents." cursed LIn fan and continued to punch him until he was unconscious.
after which he tossed him aside and went his way. soon after he left a shadow came out and put a healing pill in Lin xue mouth. this was even higher grade pill which could melt in mouth. soon Lin Xue woke up.
His condition had stabilised but, his eyes were dead, he a 15 year old boy had been enduring such torture since childhood and now, he was simply trying to not worry his mother who would be heartbroken if she find out that her son was doing these things to her other son.
" master, why you didn't let me take action? okay, i understand that you don't want your mother to worry but at least let me protect you from people like him." asked the shadow that appeared just now.
" No I can't if i involve you, he will recognize you and know that mother have sent you to protect me, it will further infuriate him and i don't want this." said lin xue
the shadow went silent, he was unwilling to not do something and can't understand why care ,what will lin fan think, he already was making Lin xue's life miserable as it was but, he didn't do anything because lin xue is very paranoid about these things.
when he had just started to protect him, he was abused by Lin fan similarly, that time he reported to lin xue's mother and she gave severe punishment to Lin fan. which infuriated him so much that he had Lin xue beaten up by all his classmate and he even made sure nobody talk to him for two years. after that incident Lin Xue stopped talking to anybody even him, he didn't utter a single word for two years and when he did , it was also after such incident where Lin fan was abusing him and he told shadow to not report and he didn't, then only Lin xue began to talk to him again.
after some time lin xue completely recovered, it was still noon so, he decided to go back to master wang's pavilion.
By the time he reached their master wang had already selected his disciples and among them was Lin fan. this thing infuriated him very much but he kept his cool and without giving expressions, lin xue went back to outer sect and started to sweep gallery.
"hey, you heard?"
" yeah, the adopted son was once again beaten up by someone"
" it's pity that he isn't genius like fifth master."
"what pity? it's good that he doesn't have much talent otherwise he would have died long ago. don't you remember young master Lin fie "
" who doesn't remember him, if only he had accepted Xu family's support he wouldn't had to die.
i mean if young miss Xu wan had asked me to marry her, I would have agreed readily"

two disciples were talking while looking towards a meek looking boy in haggard cloths who was sweeping the gallery of sects outer waranda.
the duo conversation was heard by lin xue but, he remained silent because he knew that they were talking wasn't entirely false.
soon he was done with cleaning so, he made his way towards his room in the outer sect.
just as he was about to go, a lady in refined white clothes appeared in front of him.
"lin xue, my child what happened."
" nothing mother, it was just a little brawl between brothers"
the lady moved closed to him and gently put her hands on his swollen cheek and said
" my child, why you endure all this, just tell me the name . i will make sure they dont bother you again"
"were they sons of second uncle?" asked Lin wei. the adopted mother of lin xue.
" it's my fight mother, you don't worry?" said Lin Xue while placing his hand in her hands .
" if only your father was here....."
" it's good he's away, father won't like seeing me in this pathetic condition"
LIN wei silently gasped and slowly embraced Lin xue. LIn Xue quickly stranded out of her brace and ran away shyly after saying that he needed to practice.
just as lin xue left, a shadow appeared from his back.
Lin wei who had sweet smile earlier turned to icy chill face.
" what happened?"
