Julian had made sure the room Anastasia was getting treated in was soundproof so the little commotion happening inside wouldn't be heard by anyone, including his daughter.
"Let's get you back to sleep, baby," he said, taking her up to her room.
Julian tugged Emma into bed and only left when he heard her snoring softly in her sleep.
He was aware it would be dangerous to have Anastasia treated in his home just as much as it was dangerous to have her treated in a hospital.
If Emma saw the doctor or any of the nurses, questions would arise. If she'd seen Anastasia, more questions would arise. Thankfully, Julian had already thought of what his replies would be when Emma asked such questions.
He left the room with a soft click on the door, then turned to the same room Anastasia was getting treated in.
"Where's the doctor?" He asked Alex when he didn't spot the man in a white coat.
