"I'm not going anywhere with you," Fiona claimed. "And I'm not talking to you about anything."
Tracie chuckled lightly. "Are you the one that killed Arabella Santos and pinned the blame on Xavier Wallace?"
Fiona stood frozen in shock at the words that spilled out from Tracie's mouth. She couldn't believe what she was hearing. The accusation hit Fiona hard against the chest as she stared at Tracie.
It'd been many years and she thought she wouldn't be asked by anyone regarding the sudden death of Arabella. But she'd been wrong.
Fiona's mind flooded with possibilities. Possibilities of if they were after her so they would get rid of her. Her hands turned sweaty, her eyes darting from one place to the other, trying to find words that wouldn't land her into any more suspicion.
