He couldn't calmly watch as the vice president stood on stage and bragged about the newborn baby in his family when he hadn't finished all his payments he had to make on that particular baby.
The smile on the vice president immediately faltered when he recognized Xander. He'd wanted to ask his wife to bring out the newborn baby so everyone could see, but now that Xander was around, he stopped himself from making such a decision.
His wife's smile faltered into a terrifying look when she also saw Xander because she recognized him.
"Go keep an eye on the baby and make sure no one you don't know comes close to him," he ordered. The wife gave a brief nod to show she understood his words. She flashed the guests a quick smile before the stage.
Xander saw the wife leaving, and he couldn't help but release a chuckle.
