"I want you to divorce Selene as soon as possible," he ordered.
Xavier didn't react to Jeffrey's words since he'd already anticipated them from the beginning—since they found out Selene was their daughter.
"I won't," he replied, his face as blank as a paper, with not a single emotion expressed. "And no matter what you say will make us divorce. No matter what," he added, his hands still in his pockets but were fully clenched.
Jeffrey glared at Xavier.
"I don't want my daughter to have to do anything with you or the Wallace family. Nothing at all. First, you people were the reason she was separated from us, and then your father's betrayal. I don't care if you were the one who found out she was Ava, I don't want the relationship the both of you share. And that's final," he demanded, his tone firm.
If it's been anyone else, the person might have been scared of their wits, if possible, already peeing in their pants, but not Xavier.
