Chapter 1 - Brave New World

Xorp qurz Frel!"

"Sur burn argi!"

Two alien creatures would be arguing in the space ship's cockpit.

Behind them a tall young man in his early twenties would be laying down in his cell.

The ship's lights show his turquoise hair, and bright orange eyes.

His ice-blue vestments were complimented with an emerald jewel in the middle of the collar giving him a priestly appearance.

The young man would stare out the small ovaloid window of the space ship.

Occasionally he'd see a few bright dots fly by before returning to pitch black darkness.

"QIRM FREN!"

"IRBAK ZIRON!" The two aliens would keep arguing their voices getting louder every second.

"CAN YOU TWO SHUT THE HELL UP!" The young man's holy aura would dissipate at his outburst as the two aliens wouldn't pay him any mind, continuing their indiscernible ramblings.

-Firdt Person POV-

''I swear when I'm out of this cell I'm going to tear them apart.'' Laying back down I'd try to figure out what decision led to this outcome.

''Is it because I fired all those secretarys? Of course it can't be. After all they decided to start ordering around me! How dare they give orders to God himself.'' His voice having a sadistically cheerful tone.

"FORZU!" The alien with blue-skin, two orange goat horns coming out his head, and six arms would scream as a red streak would go flying past the center monitor.

"Urps?!" The crimson-skinned, alien would frantically question his voice clearly shaky.

The tentacles covering his mouth would flap around as he spoke.

His eight eyes would dart around each holographic screen.

The entire vessel would violently jerk to the right as something would hit the right wing.

The ship would come to an apparent stop as the darkness would fade giving way to a gorgeous view of stars, in the distance a planet with bright lights showing the evidence of life could be seen.

Six arms, would move to grab a gun-like weapon on the rack near my cell.

Oddly though party city Cthulhu didn't try to grab a weapon instead opting to take an unorthodox fighting stance.

...A pure and eerie silence would fall over the frozen ship.

The two alien abductors would stay ready.

Something would land on the vessel as the roof would dent under the weight of something.

The metal where the dent was would glow a bright orange before turning yellow as the metal would melt as a human looking man would fall through the roof.

Instead of being sucked into the vacuum of space the ship would stay pressurized.

The man would stand tall putting him at about 6'3, his gold medals would be accentuated by his jet black uniform which hugged his form firmly.

Showing his athletic body, his straight, fine grey hair would give the illusion of old age, but his face would oppose this making him appear to be in his mid-twenties.

His green eyes would glare daggers at the two abductors. The crimson alien being near his height would rush forward trying to do a simple jab at him as he approached.

The skin on his arm would begin to char as it would slowly fall apart revealing the musculature of his hand.

Even so that would begin to be seared and be vaporized.

Finally his skeleton would be revealed at this point the bone would crack and splinter before finally vaporizing into nothingness.

"AAAAGGGGHHHH!!!!" The alien would wail.

Holding his arm which was melted and cauterized up to the elbow.

His companion would raise his weapon to shoot, however, the man would act faster taking out a small sharp metal rod, and throwing it at the blue alien. It would impact his upper shoulder, becoming stiff he would foam at the mouth as electricity would flow through his body.

Before falling onto the floor making an audible thud.

The crimson alien would fall to the ground, holding up his hand and bending his legs upwards to be cuffed.

"Arzi orpi mey?" The man would look up at me and would ask.

Even at 6'3 he'd only reach the turquoise haired man's collar bone. The full height of the young man can be seen, standing at a towering 7'4.

I would shake my head before saying, "I can't speak that gibberish."

The man would stare blankly before unlocking my cell and gesturing for me to follow him, "It's unfortunate that you can't understand what I'm saying, but since I'm such a benevolent God. I will give you my blessing."

The young man would proudly state as if he was doing a massive service.

Upon reaching the hole the man in the uniform would give a hand to help the young man.

Only to have it promptly ignored by the young man, "I may have blessed you, but you still have no right to touch my perfect form."

Grabbing the edges of the hole he would pull himself up being met with the sight of millions of stars surrounding him.

Their light paled in comparison to the sight of explosions coming off the distant planet.

War ships would reign down missiles which upon impact would create small meteor sized craters.

His focus would be broken by the man waving a hand in front of him and pointing in the direction of a medium sized space ship.

A chill would travel up me as the space ship's hull would be significantly colder than the ship I was on.

The first vessel felt like a sauna, this felt like a freezer.

Looking to my left I'd see many people in similar looking uniforms the only difference being the amount and types of medals each person had.

''Is this guy some sort of big shot?''  Everyone we'd pass by would stop working and would salute by bending at a 90 degree angle, pointing their arm out and bending it upwards by another 90 degrees.

Only after Mr. Big shot drew a circle with his finger in their palm could they keep working.

Ignoring their unusual customs my interest would peak when we'd reach some weird room.

The walls were covered in holographic screens each showing something different, mostly charts, graphs, and other scientific jargon.

"Glors pinniji, freupi." The man would say while pointing at my wrist , in his hand would be a weird device that looked like a bracelet.

"Do you want me to wear this?" I'd ask grabbing the device while pointing to my wrist.

"Coj."

"I'll take that as a yes." Putting on the device I could feel a needle sink into my skin as I tried to take off the device, but it wouldn't budge.

"Calm down it's fine it won't kill you." The man would state trying to refuse the situation.

''English? I see what's happening here...''  The bracelet stabbing me, the sudden change to English, and the lack of dictionaries made it obvious.

"So this device changes your language to my native tongue." I said piecing together the obvious.

I would state having figured out the device's function after remembering all those Sci-Fi tropes from the comics I read.

"You catch on quite fast, I should introduce myself. I am Rell Crun Eybat..."

''Why does this guy think I care about what he has to say. I guess I'll give him some attention now that he can understand me. I should try to keep my divine image intact. Plus he has some odd ability that might benefit me.''

"...of the Trebor fleet." Rell would finally finish speaking as he'd add emphasis on the last part.

Clearly taking pride in his fleet.

"So you're very prideful in your fleet I see."

"Of course I am, only the best of the best..."

''And he lost me again. Can this guy just get to the part where he bows down in front of my awe, or at least redirects me back to Earth. Extraterrestrials are exhausting to converse with.''

"...victory over the vulture faction." Rell would finally end his long winded ranting and would turn to his desk grabbing a few documents.

Nodding along while adding the occasional 'mhm' and 'I see' would give the illusion of comprehension.

"So, how would I return to my home planet?" Id inquire.

Rell would keep gathering documents. Talking the whole time doing so, "Once we reach Irel there should be a Jin-map to find your home planet."

He'd say before turning to face me and giving me a file filled with documents, "These will give you abductee status, and let you travel anywhere within Fourth Response territory. Depending on the galaxy you can even travel in Ironform territory. If they'll ever let you get that close of course."

I would skim through the documents, not finding anything interesting. "I appreciate your assistance thus far." Giving him a soft smile.

He'd return the gesture before going on another long tangent, "It's no problem really, hopefully you..."

''This guy is so lucky I need his assistance to get back to Earth. The second his usefulness runs out I'm ditching him.''  The thought of leaving the poor man crying saying 'Oh please my liege! Don't leave me!' would fill my head.

"...good luck!" That would thankfully mark the end of the conversation.

Before turning to leave Rell would stop me saying, "I never got your name."

"My name is Matthew." A silence would fall over the room. As Rell would wait for more, but would soon understand there wasn't more, "You don't have a given name?"

"No, I don't." I would bluntly state not having ever been given one.

Rell would rest his index finger on his mouth and his thumb under his chin in deep thought, "You'll have an easier time going through the bureaucratic processes  if you have a given name. Does anything come to mind?" Moving his hand back down to his side.

''I don't see why having a given name matters so much, but if it will make him shut up I'll think of something... I'll just take the name my followers call me.''  Being content with the name I had chosen I would tell Rell for documentation, "How about Aiarc?"

"It's completely up to you, friend. Whatever you feel suits you best." He'd give me a soft smile to ease my worries or something.

The only thing I was focused on was how this person called me his 'friend', ''How dare this guy think we're peers.''

-Third Person-

Metallic doors would open horizontally on their own as Matthew Aiarc would step out.

He'd walk to an empty room that is reserved for refugees and abductees.

Abductee, it left a sour taste in his mouth. It made him feel weak, made him feel helpless, ''I was just caught by surprise!'' he thought.

His mind would wander to earlier that day.

When Rell somehow withstood liquid metal, melted that alien's arm off, and easily took down those guys.

He wanted to ask, but he knew Rell would begin in an hour long conversation in which he would understand only the beginning and end of the explanation.

Arriving at his lodgings he'd physically recoil after seeing what he got.

He was expecting first-class lodgings in a penthouse suite with an Alaskan King Bed, a personal chef and butler, and a 10/10 view of the galaxy.

Instead he got a bed that could barely fit his large stature. Laying down hed look out the window to the side of his bed seeing the pitch black that occasionally would show bright dots that fade back to darkness.

He could feel his consciousness fade, and he'd be enveloped by the feeling of sleep.
