Dawn broke over the planet Kanassa, the air crisp and full of the smell of blood. Bardock the father of Goku had arrived and laid waste to the many inhabitants that call this planet home.
"Bardock! That was a great battle!" Fasha called out as they sat around a campfire. Bardock lays on his back among the dirt looking wistfully into the sky.
"Hm…yeah" Bardock replies not too keen on the conversation and thinking about more important matters.
"I couldn't remember a thing about the fight," Tora laughed. "It was like I was on autopilot," Tora turned to Borgos. "Bardock here might be the only one here among us with the ability to have some semblance of sense while fighting." Tora scoffed a little jealous.
"Well Bardock is our squad leader for a reason" Borgos spat out between bites of an alien he killed and cooked over a fire to eat.
Ever the quiet one Shugesh just nodded agreeing with his team before trying to swipe some of the aliens from Borgos and failing. For a hungry man will do anything to keep his meal.
"So Bardock" Fasha sat on a rock and held her knee close to her chest. "I heard you had another son," Fasha chuckled. "Having a good time with that useless wife of yours?"
Bardock's eyes narrowed but he didn't move from his position. "Watch it Fasha, you may be a member of my squad but I won't let you speak ill of Gine" Bardock spit out the plant in his mouth and sat up to stare daggers at Fasha.
"Well…what do you know" Fasha was astonished she had never seen this side of Bardock. "The big brute does have a heart in there somewhere" Fasha turned to Tora who was trying to pull apart Shugesh and Borgos from ripping each other apart due to food. "You hear that Tora? Bardocks a big softy" Fasha laughed.
"Fasha we may be warriors but bardock is a special case" Finally separating the two Borgos and Sheugesh were sent in different directions from one another. Tora turned around smiling at Bardock. "Behind all that brute there's a man who cares deeply about his family."
Bardock just scoffs and tries to get the mission back on course. "Frieza sent us here because these fish guys are supposed to have future sight" Bardock rolled his eyes unamused. "How ridiculous, if they had that ability then how did we kill them so effectively?" Bardock then sensed something and whipped around as fast as he could to see a Kanassan still alive.
"You are correct, we saw you coming and still prepared poorly" The fish man frowned. "It just speaks volumes of you Saiyans brutal nature" The fish man rushed Bardock. Barley having time to react Bardock put up his guard but was wrong in his assumption as the fish man jumped and arced over him. The fish man struck Bardock in the back of the neck on one of his pressure points. Screaming in temporary pain, Bardock was stunned for a moment.
Acting fast Fasha and Tora bounced up from their positions with blinding speed and kicked the fishman back into a dirt pile. "Bardock are you okay?" Tora looked over his captain and found nothing immediately wrong with his captain .
"That damned fish freak!" Bardock growled out as he was ready to erase this thing from existence.
"Wait!" It called out in some kind of plea. Bardock on instinct hesitated for a moment. "I have given you the ability you taunted not moments before. Now you will see your downfall just as we have our homeworld" The fish man cackled out in a cold harsh tone.
"Shut the Hell up!' Bardock clearly in a bad mood deep fried the fish not in the mood to talk any further.
"That was weird eh Bardock?" Bardock?" To everyone's horror, Bardock collapsed to the ground in a heap. "Bardock!" his squad called out in alarm and gathered around him.
