Hello everyone.
You likely picked up this book, believing it to be a work of fiction. Unfortunately or potentially fortunately for you the story held with these pages are very real, and should you care to memorize it, the information here could save your life should you find yourself in a similar situation.
This book details the journey of my beloved late grandfather. He often told me these tales as a child to teach me important life lessons. When I was young, I thought they were like the hero and ghost stories other kids' families told them. As I got older, I noticed that many of the injuries he detailed happening to the main characters of his stories consider with many of the scars marring his body. It wasn't until I found the collection in his basement I had inherited in his will consisting of worn journals, a few thumb drives holding more information, and relics ranging from mundane to impossible that I I finally realized that his stories were real.
Weather you got this as a gift, from a bookshop, or found it laying on the ground, be weary of the story ahead, it is not a journey of rainbows and unicorns, but instead a story of a gritty and bloody reality that will likely leave you with a few mental scars of your own. I will mostly be describing events from a third person perspective, giving you the information I have gathered that my grandfather didn't have in the moment, other times I will give you the unedited excerpts from one of his many journals.
